If I could give zero stars, I would. This business has inexistent customer service and zero attention to the consumer. I will share an email I sent them the same day I received my order (9/13/23), and until today (9/19/23), it has not been acknowledged.
Dear Brigadeiro Bakery Team,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme frustration with the recent order I received from your bakery. As a fellow business owner, I believe it is essential to provide feedback when a customer's experience falls short of expectations.
First and foremost, I had selected three specific brigadeiro flavors for my order: classic chocolate, coconut, and pistachio. However, upon receiving my order, I was disappointed to discover that instead of the pistachio brigadeiros I had requested, I received the mixed flavor. This mix-up was quite disappointing as I had been looking forward to have my neighbors experiencing the pistachio flavor.
Secondly, I had taken extra steps to ensure that this order would be a delightful gift for my American neighbors, who had never heard of brigadeiros before. I had explicitly mentioned in the order notes and even through email communication that this order was intended as a gift. I had requested a brochure or some informational material explaining each product, but unfortunately, nothing of the sort was included in the package. This oversight left me feeling unprepared when presenting the gift to my neighbors, as I wanted to introduce them to the unique flavors and history of brigadeiros. Furthermore, I am quite dissatisfied with the packaging of the items. To ensure that the gift would be presentable, I initially placed an order for my household, which arrived in a large white box with a beautiful yellow bow. It looked elegant and fitting for a gift. However, my second order, intended as a gift for my neighbors, arrived with some items crammed into a small white box, which had been squished by the spreads, and it doesn't accommodate all the items properly. Now, I find myself in the unfortunate position of having to scramble to find a suitable box that is big enough to accommodate all the items and printing information from your website so that my neighbors can learn about what they are receiving. The ice pack was completely melted as well.
All in all, this has been a disappointing experience, and I regret to say that I would not recommend Brigadeiro Bakery to a friend based on this experience. I believe that a business's commitment to delivering exceptional products and customer service is paramount, and this order has fallen short of those expectations.
I hope that my feedback can contribute to improvements in your processes and service quality. I would appreciate it if you could address these issues promptly and ensure that such shortcomings do not occur in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
I do not recommend this place if you want to receive what you ordered or need them to cater to your needs.
A little bit of willingness...

It's not a cupcake. It's not a macaroon. It's not a cookie, a pastry, or a cake. It's a brigadeiro; it's Brazilian; and I tried one for the first time today at West Houston and Sullivan Street, at Brigadeiro Bakery.
I only wanted a cup of tea before meeting a friend for dinner nearby, so I stepped into the closest bakery. After I ordered the green tea, I was told that I could pick a free brigadeiro.
I looked over the glass display case beneath the counter for a while, in my mind, sifting through the options until I went for the brigadeiro of the coffee variety.
I waited until I stepped outside, and was standing near Houston Street at dusk as another late summer evening fell upon the city. I took a sip of the green tea, then went for the brigadeiro: short, sweet, and just enough texture and flavor to lull me back in again before the summer...
Read moreIt's a nice little Brazilian Brigadeiro confectionery store. The desserts taste delicious and freshly made. I found them a bit too sweet for my taste buds. So tried them with unsweetened ginger tea and viola! We got pistachio, dulce de leche & walnut, two lovers, crunchy (milk) chocolate, coconut & dark chocolate flavors. Along with my coffee, chose coffee & praline flavor. Personally, liked dark chocolate and coffee & praline flavors the best. Asked for a simple packing and staff got busy in gift box packing. :) Also, got a decaffeinated mocha which tasted absolutely delicious. Although later, felt the strong caffeine effects so wondered if it was actually decaffeinated... Overall though, it was a good place to try...
