THIS PLACE IS ALL LOOKS!
This place gets five-star for it's use of color n decor, branding, geneous self-marketing-instagram-worthy-drink-from-stensile, and it's location.
HOWEVER, they close at 8p which STARBUCKS beats with later hours and prices. Personally got my drink and just sat down, to do work before they announced 5 minutes before closing.
The price, as we all know from other people's reviews, are too high for what you're getting.
The experience:
After much pondering and reviewing other people's comments I decided to go with a designed coconut matcha hot latte which they do with a stencil (you are paying $$$ for a stencil art btw) nothing special. The coconut milk was not steamed and the drink was actually cold. I asked the girl named Danny who made my drink, why was it not hot and she said "you should have said something we would have made it hotter." I was not aware that I had to say I want a hot drink when I'm paying for a hot drink!? Also, I didn't get a chance to say anything after I bought the drink because I had to rush to drink it when they announced they were closing in 5 minutes. How do you give a five minute warning to people who are buying a drink to stay?
Overall, my experience was not great and I'm not sure if I would like to come back and get something else but I wouldn't choose the lattes and I would go for something more unusual like the lemonade, soft serve or the specials. From reading other reviews and now my own experience, I agree that the lattes are not worth buying here. Starbucks although a chain has a clear understanding what a hot drink means and all they are missing is those cheap reusable stencils.
The staff wasn't so friendly or jolly which could be because it was the end of the day. Big plus is they provide Wi-Fi and a bathroom for those who stay to...

First off as someone being in the serive industry I know first hand how hard customer service can possibly be, although it is a hard profession what makes the people working at said place professionals is the ablity to deliver great service and product to the best of their ability without compromising quality. It seems everytime I go into cha cha matcha they never seem to have the famous matcha icecream that I hear so much about. Granted I know it is a very popular item but come on, why even have it on the menu if it's constantly sold out.
Today I stopped by before closing and waiting on the line outside and respected the social distancing rules. As me and my wife were waiting on the line for 5 minues we were next to be served when the barista comes outside and tells us that they are closed. But she saw us standing on the line prior, why this person didn't come outside in the first place and told us about the closing time is beyond me. Why didn't this person finish with the customers who was already waiting and standing on the line is beyond me. Not only does cha cha matcha not keep up with the demand of certain items but the lack of integrity from it's employees is absurd. If I was in her situation even if we were set to close at 5 I would still take care of the people who were waiting on the line, girl you'll probally get more tips so whats 2 more customers going to do?!? Like she didn't tell us not to wait on the line, she let us waste our time standing there. Anyways I hope in the future cha cha matcha...
Read moreMake sure to tip well bc the young girl with the red hair calls out your tip if she's not happy with what she received. She also yelled out loud right after that, in a cafe with customers that she was "done being nice to people."
The other gal who rang me up, tall brown hair with pigtails, was a little more gracious. She heard the whole exchange. I walked out of there with my matcha latte only to return shortly after with my untouched drink to ask for a refund. The gal with the pigtails who rang me up seemed to gladly offer me a refund, and looked for my transaction on the ipad. She had me repeat my order and asked what time I had been in when she helped me just a short time ago. Lol. In the end she voided my transaction. Tipping culture has gotten out of hand. I always tip a few dollars at quick service businesses and sometimes I may just round up my total. I get it's a service industry and in the US it's customary. But when did "being nice to people" especially customers, have to cost extra? I guess only the gal at Cha Cha...
