It depends what you're looking for. If you want room service, freshly squeezed orange juice and a continental breakfast, classy on-demand movies and a view of the skyline... You should go somewhere else. But if you're looking for an inexpensive, inclusive and discreet place to spend the night, where the staff won't be butting in your business, snooping around asking questions, or for that matter gossiping about some indiscretion of yours 🤭😋 then you would like this place. The location is great, 39 West 27th Street, between Broadway and 6th Ave, between Chelsea and Harold Square/MSG. The rooms are sparse and budget, and you won't mistake the rooms for five star luxury accommodations. You may even smell some cannabis being consumed, which is entirely legal in New York. But no one's going to bother you. Some of the shadiest, craziest and funniest stories from the underworld of Manhattan, will start off with, "Once upon a time, when I was at the Senton..." and everyone who's been around, will groan knowingly and smile, having been there many times themselves. So, Go there and make some memories for yourself. Big shout out to The night Manager Raj, and everyone else who keeps that place alive.
PS. And if you just need a nap, or a place to shower and shave, or other short-term activities 🤭, they do have short stay rooms, I think the latest going rate is 100 bucks for 4 hours 🎉👯🎊👍. I mean, I think I read that...
Read moreThis hotel is classic NYC. Located in the bustling gayborhood of Chelsea, you are close to everything the city has to offer. It's a quick walk to the train. There are literally dozens of food options within a block or two and the area is about as safe as one can ask for in Manhattan.
The accommodations are not fancy. The hotel itself is absolutely not a luxury hotel. However, the Senton Hotel is an absolute gem of resource for folks who may not have the budget for a fancy spot.
The hotel staff are respectful, accommodating, and understand that they're providing a vital service to folks in the local community as well as folks visiting. They give respect to anyone staying provided you provide them with respect yourself. Everybody is welcome at the Senton.
Have you got the budget for a luxury accommodations? This is not your place. Are you low on cash and need a place to stay? This is an...
Read moreGood location. Room rates are nearly the half if you compare with the neighbour hotels around. I have stayed at a single room with private bath. All the functions of the bath were working well. Room was clean. Bed sheets were really clean as well. Ok. It was simple but wider than equal. One thing you have to know that you had to pay for your room cash and in advance. No credit card accepted. Unnecessary free porn movies are still on TV. Room has refrigerator, mobile heater and microwave but microwave was not working. Room door wasn't closed properly. Nobody and nothing disturbed me during my stay in my room. Only the street noise during the night. But this is general situation of Manhattan.||Shortly; interesting, not luxury but clean and satisfactory hotel with suitable price in really good location of Manhattan. Personally I can advise you and prefer it for my next...
