I must say, my recent visit to this place was an absolute revelation! It all started when my Director, in a rare fit of generosity, invited me and a co-worker to this hidden gem that's practically a stone's throw away from our office. How on earth had I missed it before? The service here is so outstanding that if I were any happier, I'd probably start floating like a helium balloon.
Now, onto the food - brace yourselves for a flavor explosion! I ordered their house special dish, which included shaved truffles and grilled chicken (gotta get that protein, right?). I'm usually not a fan of Brussels sprouts, but I trusted their recommendation, and voila! They turned me into a Brussels sprouts enthusiast. Who knew?
And then there were the desserts. Oh, sweet mercy! I decided to indulge in the Olive Oil Cake with apple marmellata and whipped creme fraiche. Mind you, I had an epiphany. This cake wasn't just dessert; it was a spiritual experience. My Director went for the Chocolate Hazelnut Budino with salted caramel and crumbled wafer, and let's just say, those desserts are so good, they should be considered a controlled substance.
One thing that caught my eye was how the waitstaff and cooks worked together like a well-oiled machine in the kitchen. It was like a synchronized culinary ballet. I've already made up my mind to come back here on Friday; this place is nothing short of a gastronomic sanctuary.
Now, let's talk about the location. If you ever find yourself near the Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral and your stomach starts growling louder than the church bells, this is your haven. The Italian cuisine here is like a symphony for your taste buds. Creamy burrata, salmon benedict, tagliatelle - they've got it all.
And don't even get me started on the drinks. Prosecco, bellini, Spritz - you name it, they've got it. Their espresso and cappuccino could make a caffeine addict weep tears of joy.
One thing that truly stood out was their food delivery service, a godsend for those busy office days. The staff here is always cheerful, and the service is as smooth as a silk tablecloth. Plus, the prices won't make your wallet cry for mercy.
As for the atmosphere and decor, it's fancy with a capital "F." You'll feel like you've stepped into a stylish Italian eatery straight out of a movie. So, in conclusion, if you're looking for a place that's as close to restaurant perfection as it gets, La Pecora Bianca is a must-visit. It's an epicurean adventure you won't soon forget. Bon...

UPDATE ; management reached out to me which was very appreciated. They were very receptive to feedback which is great. Sign of a good establishment when the management cares. Had a great meal that restored my faith! Only took photos of the drinks & Burrata (all yum) Bc we were hungry and inhaled the past we ordered!

Inexplicably disappointing. I have been several times and have always enjoyed the food and service. The food was great tonight but the service. NOT.
Our waitress was NOT IT. Unfriendly even though we went out of our way to try to be nice and accommodating to HER. I get it, the service industry is tough and Covid had been rough but when you spend $100 a person you don’t want to feel like a bother. In my opinion good service is the difference between an OK meal & a great one. I will forgive OK food if the service is great. And it was a Monday night - not even busy.
Didn’t provide drink suggestions when asked. Basically “read the menu”.
She wouldn’t let us put the water bottle on an empty bar surface near us because “then ppl won’t see the bottle and will keep giving you bottled all night”. Ummmmm we need to make room for the plates??
Kept saying she hadn’t tried the dishes we asked about (don’t think it’s her fault but rather that of management. Serving staff should be tasting what they serve).
Took my dirty fork from appetizers and places it on the table “you will need this”. Seriously? I can’t get a clean fork with my entree?
It was my friends bday dinner and not only did I make specific note of that asking if I could get a candle in her dessert, but another guest at dinner went to confirm it with the waitress. Guess what? No candle. Not the end of the world but these little things all add up. They comped the dessert Bc we complained (the only thing we mentioned all evening)
Compare this to the birthday brunch we had a The Wilson yesterday. Was the food as good? HECK NO. But the service was so lovely and we had such a great time We will recommend it to our friends. When noted it was my friends’s bday in the reservation they had a Handwritten “Happy Bday” sign on the table when we arrived. And they came out with a complementary dessert compete with a...
Read moreLET ME TELL YOU THIS PLACE IS PHENOMENAL!! Ended up here on randomly with my family one day. We had never heard of it but thought it looked good so we went inside. The only explanation for this turn of events is divine intervention… service was great within the first two minutes of being seated our orders were being taken even though the restaurant was far from empty. I started my meal with a crisp Coca Cola in a tall skinny cup with big square ice cubes (which I love). Then I made a decision that literally changed me forever… I ordered the garganelli. It comes with wild roasted mushroom, arugula pesto, and garlic pecorino. The food came quickly…. I unwrapped my utensils and prepared to take my first bite. My tastebuds world were absolutely rocked. Nothing could’ve prepared me for how good this pasta was. For real. I’ve never had pasta this good. Then the worst thing that could’ve happened happened… I got full. I absolutely powered through it though because that’s just the kind of person I am. I loved this pasta and I HAD to finish it. Even though I was full each bite was more delicious than the next I never got sick of the flavor. My family got the spaghetti, rigatoni, and broccolini to share which were great as well! But absolutely nothing came close to the garganelli. I genuinely scraped that plate to get all the sauce and cheese stuck to it. With a heavy heart I let Patrick (our lovely waiter) take my empty plate. My heart wasn’t heavy for long though as the dessert menu was brought to the table. I was instantly drawn to the olive oil cake with strawberry and crème fraiche. I’m a pretty big South Park fan so I had a good giggle about crème fraiche (season 14 ep 14 if you’re wondering why I giggled). The olive oil cake arrived and my family and I absolutely chowed down. It wasn’t a large piece but for the three of us it was enough since we were quite full from the pasta. We finished the cake and I began writing this review you’re currently reading because of just how much I truly enjoyed the food. I couldn’t wait to write the review I had to write it while the flavor was fresh in my mouth. Wonderfully pleasant experience I recommend...
