Food- the food was not what we had expected! We had the fajitas, a burrito, a chicken torta, tacos de pork, a guacamole 3 margaritas and 2 orange juices for my girls. The pork tacos were the only item that stood out. the guacamole was good and the fajitas meat was good, the grill chicken on the torta was dry! like understand the torta was going to be dry since I order it without the guacamol,arugula and no chipotle because it’s was going to be for my girls but the chicken it self was dry! and a TORTA with GRILL chicken? like I said not WOW!
Service- 1-as we walked in the host was sitting down on his phone. 2- the place was FREEZING !!! uncomfortable to be in a place where you are paying to be freezing while eating! 3- our waitress was very inattentive! We had to wait several minutes to order, had to wave to get drinks! we ask for a drink and since we were already disappointed we were getting ready to leave and yet our waitress was not around. We had to asked the busboy (the only one that we saw working) if we could get our checks, that’s when our waitress asked if she had brought the drink!! . A drink that had been order 25 mins ago and that a different waitress had brought us! the WHOLE STAFF THE WHOLE STAFFF that are meant to provide services (EXCEPT the bus boys &the dishwashers that we saw ) WERE ON THEIR PHONES THE HOSTS ,THE WAITRESS ! We had a table next to us of young men that left! because their waitress was not around to order and they were freezing. and on top of that they asked if they can have separate checks and their waitress said “we don’t do that” like are you serious? they were so eager to leave! Unfortunately we were already stuck since we had our food out, and we personally don’t like to waste food. I’m not lying about the temperature inside the restaurant! I was freezing ! And I was cover! Like come on we go out to enjoy a nice meal and for what I was served and how I was taken care of then I should’ve stay home and cook and I’m not picky! But damn out of the 3 things that a restaurant should be on top off all of them were horrible! I never write reviews but this restaurant gosh 4- The place wasn’t pack when we were there, therefore we shouldn’t be waving down for service or waiting several minutes to place an order. We let our waitress know about it while we were paying. Prices- prices were ok but not for the portions or quality. I am complaining about the prices I understand it’s nyc but the QUALITY has to improve.
OWNER/ MANAGER definitely need to check the CUSTOMER SERVICE of their staff. The place looks very nice and clean but that’s all there is to it...
Read moreFirst, Be cautious if you’re an international traveler paying with card. My husband and I came here to eat around July at night and we had order two dishes. One being the Caesar salad with chicken and an order of carnita tacos. The total was around 40 something. So around three weeks later we get back to our home and we look over our bank states and guess what? They charged us over 90 dollars… like what!? I was visible really angry. How can they charge us and think we wouldn’t find out. So I call and and talk to the manager and he proceeds to just sweet talk me and says he understands and basically he was nice, but he wasn’t communicating with me what was really going on.. or even emailing me back with anything. I call again and I talk to the manager, he proceeds to tell me that the refund was processed and that’s it. Another two weeks go by and nothing. At this point I’m really angry and annoyed no emails, no calls. Nothing. So then i finally called and the manager Nakis, doesn’t want to talk, but gives the phone off to a lady and then it wasn’t until I had enough playing telephone tag that I got passed to the boss Jack. So I tell Jack this and I email him this past Sunday, again no email about anything. Not even an email saying he confirms or did the refund. I finally texted him today and he said he gave me a refund or processed it. I asked for proof of processed refund.. come to find out the waitress who took our order gave herself a nice little tip… like WHAT!?! First the fact that no one told me this is what did it for me and to not even apologize until after I asked and said I deserved an apology. Did you all think I wasn’t going to find out or know about it!? This is so invasive and then the guy Jack, down plays it like I’m assuming this person had a history of doing this because she’s no longer working there anymore. Read moreVery disappointing. But let's do the one good thing first: We walked in, without a reservation, and were immediately seated at a nice quiet table. The waitress soon came over, and took our drink order - and entered it in her little hand-held computer. Then took our food order. I knew from past experience when orders are entered on hand-held computers that no deviations are possible. I tried for a minor one anyhow, but to no avail. Something as basically Mexican as Cheese Enchiladas are not available on the computer. About 10 minutes later, the main courses arrived, brought over by a busboy, who didn't know who got which. No surprise, as apparently that can't be entered on the waitress' computer. When I asked him where the drinks were, he clearly didn't understand, as English was not a language he spoke. So he sent over the waitress. When I asked her where the drinks were, she replied that the bartender was very busy. At which point I admit to getting somewhat testy, by telling her that a quality waitress would either ask if we were in a particular hurry (we weren't) before putting in the main course order, or not put in the main course order until the drinks were served. She seemed to not know what to say, so she just walked away. But I'm not done yet. My drink did not seem to be what I had ordered, but I wasn't going to wait another 20 minutes, so whatever it was, I kept it and drank it. Sure enough, when the check came, I was charged for whatever drink it was that I got, which was $3 more than what I had ordered. To be fair, when it was pointed out to the manager, it was deducted.
