At first when I found this show I was really excited. It seemed like a legit wedding expo in NYC! However somewhere in my excitement I accidentally bought tickets twice. Now these tickets are not cheap and when you are on a wedding budget, every penny counts! For the months leading up to the November show the Wedding Salon promised to refund back the 2nd purchase within a week after the show. 3 months later I have still not received the refund and no one will return my calls or emails. Before the show they were constantly answering phone calls and emails. Interesting. The expo itself was very large, but honestly it was all the same stuff. If you need a wedding dress, a baker, makeup artist, or need to plan a destination wedding, it will be perfect for you. All the other "must needs" for wedding planning they have 1 or 2 for you. But don't worry, they have enough "sweet" stands to make your teeth want to fall out that night. Don't hope for any florists either, otherwise you will be disappointed. Someone did make the beautiful flowers for the event, but they are not there to talk to. The grab bag is a cute idea, but not worth $20. All I got was a bag, popcorn, an old bride magazine and a ton of ads from every booth you just went to see. All in all, I would go to the show again mainly because unfortunately NYC doesn't have...
Read moreWe rsvped and when we got there they didn’t have a record of our RSVP. Even thought we have multiple emails lol. Also after having to wait in two lines which took 20 min. Before that they had us waiting outside the doors in the cold rain. Before that driving 15 min in the garage with parking attendants on each directing us to floors only to be met by other parking attendants telling us to go back to the floor we were on LOL. After we finally get in they ran out of food and drinks and the wait staff even shared that the organizers invited more people than they planned for. Some of the guests who were vendors even paid $50 to be there and didn’t get any food or drinks- just wow. It was totally a waste of time and a missed opportunity for them to earn my business as a bride. This was an event failure on...
Read moreMy business was contacted repeatedly for a number of years to participate. After sign up, the lines of communication went dead. I was scared that I had been scammed! Reached out to the venue locations to make sure they had contracted the spaces. Finally received personal communication from the owner Tatiana Byron Marx then things went a bit better. I participated in the Beverly Hills and Houston events. I was told that these were highly targeted to engaged couples with higher than the national average wedding budgets thus honeymoons followed the same. Sadly, so far, this is not true and felt the costs to participate were way out of line. No, I won't be participating again. If this changes, I will...
