This experience ruined any positive feelings about chick-fil-a that I had from growing up a child in the south. I'm currently medically fragile from all my treatment, and had tried to get an uber store pickup to pick up a couple of items from CFA. I thought all would be fine, as this is something we've done before, and restaruants work well with it. Chick-fil-a has honored it multiple times in the past, and I've never had an issue.
These last two times were a NIGHTMARE though. A driver stole $60 worth of food, because he cancelled my order and took it from the Chick-Fil-A. Chick-Fil-A just let it happen without confirming, and I spent hours with Uber. Finally, we ordered again last night and our driver was repeatedly told to go to the wrong place despite the fact that this wasn't an uber eats, it was just a pickup order for ME. i had to take over the phone call, and was repeatedly cut off by employees, condescended, and
I was floored when I had tried again, and the store told me they "don't do these things" and "you'll have to use doordash or grubhub" despite my explanation that their delivery is out of my range they continued to insist that i "wasnt allowed" to use the package pickup option for "food safety" despite the fact that it was packaged like a delivery order, and was like i was just sending a friend to get it for me.
they said they'd honor it this one time, and then said they'd cancel it, and then said they'd honor it. and then they claiemd to not have my order, and i had to do almost an hour of back and forth for TWO LEMONADES.
this experience has soured one of my favorite restauarant chains, and i will no longer be supporting a chain that treats its customers like garbage.
I resonate with my partners feelings on the matter: This has soured 23 years of good experiences in the south and it makes me never want to eat chick fil a again.
When i went in person, this was the closest one to the south in the city. Now i see that its just a facade to trick people expecting comfort food from home into giving money to this sham...
Read moreI came into the restaurant and waited on the long line. I was assisted rather quickly with placing my order. The first woman I spoke to took my order and my name. She then went ahead to tell me that all I had to do was say my name at the register and they would take care of me. Once I got to the register, I said my name and I was confirming some of the items on the order because it seemed that she was taking a minute to find the order. I went to use the restroom as I was waiting for the food to be ready. In the restroom the faucet was not working- leaving me with soapy hands to go retrieve my order. I get my order from the person at the register and ask if this is everything. She proceeds to confirm it is. I go to my car, and discover the Mac and Cheese was not there. I go inside and tell the first person I see in the store that I am missing an item. He then goes to show me that I was never charged for one and says he would charge me for it. It was not professional or friendly to deal with the situation the way the staff at this location did. I had to come back out of my way to be told I was going to be charged for something that I had placed an order from the moment I spoke to the first representative in the store. Very unprofessional and not up to the standards that Chick fil A stands for. On top of that, the quality of the food was terrible. I was also charged for a cookie when it was supposed to be free as I was using my mobile app for my points. Terrible service. I wish I could...
Read morePoor customer service training provided at this particular location. Was here after a concert Saturday night- 11/02/2019. Spent about 130$ on food for everyone. However, while in there eating the business closed, the employees started muttering that everyone needed to get the hell out and that it was now considered “trespassing” , which is not even appropriate. There were about 25 customers in there eating and the employee with white and blue strips was informing everyone they needed to exit. The rest of the employees were saying to swallow the food while on way out. My mother was waiting for me to use the restroom and they told her she needed to get out. That is when I had to speak up and tell them that was not happening because there was a long line and I was not going to have her out in the cold. Super uncomfortable situation for my group of 8 and I know for the others also that had to leave with their meals half finished. This location needs training according to customer service standards. Approximately 30% of the employees had a pleasant demeanor to themselves, the rest were very dismissive as if the customers were interrupting them or bothering. I don’t spend my money twice where I am not appreciate nor respected and I know others don’t want to neither. Therefore, I encourage the revision of this location because it is discouraging to set foot...
