I recently attended the grand opening of Chopt Creative Salad Co., and it was an exciting experience that lived up to the buzz. From the moment I walked in, the energy was palpable. The space was vibrant and modern, with a clean, minimalist design that put the focus on the fresh ingredients.
The staff was incredibly welcoming, clearly trained to handle the opening day rush. Despite the crowd, the line moved quickly, thanks to the efficient service. It was clear they were prepared for the influx of salad lovers, with plenty of staff on hand to assist and keep things moving.
As for the food, Chopt did not disappoint. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of greens, toppings, and dressings. I opted for a custom salad, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portions were generous. They also had some unique dressings that added a creative twist to the traditional salad experience.
One thing that stood out was the attention to dietary preferences and restrictions. They offered plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten sensitivities, making it easy for anyone to find something they’d enjoy.
Overall, the grand opening of Chopt Creative Salad Co. was a great success. The combination of fresh, flavorful food, friendly service, and a lively atmosphere makes it a place I’d definitely return to. Whether you're a salad aficionado or just looking for a healthy meal, Chopt is a welcome addition to the...
Read moreOk y'all, so I had an amazing visit to CHOPT! They get it right and hit the spot. The temperature inside was perfect, especially with the weather outside, and was the perfect space for me to sit, eat, and enjoy my food comfortably. The lighting was on point warm and inviting. I was greeted right away with smiles. Despite the place being semi-packed, it was surprisingly quiet, which I didn’t expect, especially since it’s in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. They have sooo many options, I was a little overwhelmed, but Kamare really made it easy for me. She came around the counter and broke everything down for me in a way that made sense, even offering a sample when I couldn’t decide between salad dressings and even attempted to give me more lol. My order came out quickly, and there was plenty of seating. The seating area even has charger ports! The salad was fresh, and the portion was huge, so I had some to take with me for later.
Now, the music wasn’t exactly my vibe, but I get what they’re going for. I’ll definitely be bringing my headphones next time though. The bathrooms were clean and smelled great, too. What really inspired me to write this review was seeing Kamare, quickly discard her gloves to assist a woman with a stroller. That thoughtful, hands-on service hits different, and it sealed the deal for me. CHOPT is who they say they are, and I’ll definitely be back. It’s a whole vibe....
Read moreOrdered twice this week using the app. Both times food was late to be finished. Meaning, I watched as several people ordered and received their food before my food was even prepared. One of the two times, it said my food was on a shelf waiting for me and the person in charge of handling finished orders looked for it and then had to go ask someone to make my order on the spot. Next time (if there is a next time) I’ll have to order in the store to see if they ignore me again. For science.
The salad here is good enough to warrant the hefty price tag only occasionally but the inability to meet their own projected completion time is on them. Change the time expectation or get faster.
Also, half the ingredients are so cold they almost seem frozen. It’s weird to order extra avocado and there’s a half frozen solid chunk of avocado on my salad. This place could be a healthy option in a greasy food area but it’s annoying to have to order remotely, show up on time to then ask them to actually make your order. At least the lady was...
