I have been eating Nature Works, on average, three times a week for just shy of 5 years and if I could give a 6-star review of this place, I would.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you that this is, by a long shot, the CLEANEST food in midtown and the BEST place to order real healthy food, no frills or fads.
I’ve dined in, ordered through seamless, ordered by phone, and gone in person for takeout.
Sure, out of the roughly 400 times I’ve ordered, a guacamole or hot sauce was missed here and there, but their commitment to their customers far surpasses any small blunder I’ve witnessed and I’ve probably ordered more than you.
The owners manage and run this place and are very perceptive and open to feedback. This is NOT a chain and is not managed by some restaurant group that also owns five other chains. This is a family business that means well and does well by its customers.
I’m going to take a moment to shine some light on these pansy 1-star reviews:
“Falafel and Hummus was very bad” – The falafel is BAKED and it says it!! It won’t be crunchy and is actually quite flavorful. It is also HUGE and a great serving of pure vegan protein! Their hummus is very simple; chickpeas, salt, and some lemon. If you are accustomed to more profound and rich hummus, this is not for you. Again, this is clean, simple wholesome food.
“Plastic in chicken” – It is called cartilage and is commonly found around the lower ligaments of a chicken… think thighs and joints.
“Chicken bone in sandwich” – Show me 200 pounds of chicken, and I’ll show you a random chicken bone (see cartilage lady’s review above). As for getting the wrong sandwich, order online (or just check your receipt), they have a better delivery process than in-person takeout. You can’t blame a restaurant for the layout they were given.
Conclusion: Based on everything I’ve experienced with NW, I don’t plan to ever stop ordering from here. They’ve done their best to keep things simple and true to their mission and also introduce new items and menus styles that mesh well with health foods trends. FIVE STARS!

Read moreI recently visited Cinco de Mayo Mexican Restaurant for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a vibrant and colorful atmosphere that made the space feel warm and festive. The décor, music, and overall vibe truly bring Mexican culture to life in such an inviting way.
The service was excellent—the staff was friendly, attentive, and made great menu recommendations. They checked in just enough to make sure we were enjoying our meal without feeling rushed.
I ordered the Grilled Chicken Quesadillas with a Mango Drink, and I was seriously impressed. The quesadillas were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with tender, well-seasoned grilled chicken and melted cheese on the inside. The portion was generous and came with fresh salsa and sour cream on the side, which added just the right kick. The mango drink was refreshing, naturally sweet, and paired perfectly with the meal.
The ambiance really made the experience special. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual lunch or a night out with friends, Cinco de Mayo has that lively, welcoming energy that makes you want to stay a little longer.
If you're looking for delicious Mexican food, great drinks, and a fun, comfortable setting, I definitely recommend Cinco de Mayo Mexican Restaurant. I’ll absolutely be coming back to try more from...
Read moreThis place is so gross! It was not very clean, employees looked tired & hung over, they didn't care about having a new customer as I explained it was my first visit but I will NEVER be back. I've eaten mexican food in Texas & in Mexico so I thought this had to be good & "authentic" wrong! I ordered an overpriced chicken tacp salad thinking especially for the price it would be excellent but again..wrong. I jave never tasted such bland food as if it was made my employees that don't care about taste & want you to know they don't care. Chicken & beans (beans tasted like from a can) had absolutely no seasoning or flavor, you couldn't even tell there was sour cream or guacamole & there were literally about 3 tiny strips of shredded cheese the onion & tomato did nothing for the taste, the lettuce still had water on it which made a gross looking bean soup at the bottom of the soggy shell. This place is truly an insult to all Mexican & Tex mex food lovers. I also had to remind them of their own advertisement stating free side if you spend 6.75 or more to which the cashier rolled his eyes & handed me some cold, rock hard tortilla chips, there was only 1 other customer & I was waiting almost 20mins... This place is awful, I tried it because I was hungry but better off getting your money's work & eating some that tastes great at chipotle or moes, even the employees are...
