Irish bartender that’s going bald is probably the rudest bartender i’ve had in my life. Went with my friends last night and asked for recommendations on drinks and he went on a rant saying he doesn’t know our taste therefore it’s impossible to give you recommendations in an extremely rude manner. We were all a bit in shock, and asked another question and he ignored us until we took an order, and he only brought the drinks to 2 friends who didn’t ask questions and ignored my other 2 friends for simply asking recommendations. He started serving new people that were coming in while we kept on waiting for our drinks, all done on purpose. His attitude and rudeness made us leave this bar and losing 4 clients that are never coming back here. Worst part is he included 20% tip in the bill and he couldn’t even let us choose!!! Deserves to have no tip...

We stopped in for some comfort bar food and to watch college football on a Saturday afternoon while walking around the area. There was one waitress who got pretty busy so she was working hard but only offered soft drink refills to the other tables not ours . We ordered the following: nachos- we had a vegetarian with us so we were offered the nachos with the beef on the side-nice. They came out on a plate looking fine. Only the top layer of cheese had melted in the microwave we realized underneath it was cold shredded cheese . The chicken strips were inedible - we all tried them (not the veg) and none of us could get past one rubbery bite. The “homemade ranch” was more likely tartar sauce. The Mac and cheese balls came out super fast and were wedges that had a plastic-y taste. The potato skins were pretty ok but...

Being Irish, ordered the fish and chips which had Irish peas. Was looking forward to the peas as well been awhile. The plate arrived, NO PEAS. I mean to say, chef? Was halfway through food when waitress brought me them. Fish not at all good. Under cooked, looked so pale and very tough, bland. Very disappointed. But I was so hungry ate it. Chips are good. My initial bartender, could not get his attention to check out despite waving my card continuously. He was only interested in patrons next to me, totally blanked me. Thanks to the extremely nice bartender from NAVAN, CO. MEATH, Sam McCabe for saving the day. Otherwise this was regrettable. Will not be back..

Seems like I’m always stumbling across decent spots due to my first choice being unavailable — I can live with that. I was out of town for a conference last week when I really wanted Indian food… the restaurant of choice was on full so I walked down the block and read the menu here and thought I’d try it. I eat fish, but no red meat or poultry, so was crossing my fingers that their salmon burger would be ok, since most places get it wrong. I was pleasantly surprised. The patty was yummy and the fries were probably the highlight. Fyi - if you order a “side” of fries, it’s good for at at least 3 ppl to share. Also service was friendly and we were seated quickly, which can often be hard at peak dinner hours in Manhattan. Enjoy!

I was not expecting to have such an awesome meal at what I thought was just your average pub looking from the outside in—this “pub” is far from average. Very cool, old school atmosphere, quick service, good selection of beers and cocktails, seriously delicious food. Got the Philly spring rolls (they come with ketchup but ask for the jalapeño garlic aioli), the JRB Burger with Cajun fries, and the truffle mac & cheese. Everything was perfect—cooked perfectly, not greasy, super fresh, flavorful, juicy, cheesy, truffle-y…please excuse me while I wipe the drool from my face.
