OSU - R.E. Grill — Restaurant in New York

I’m all about quality over quantity. I’m very picky and definitely a bit bougie when it comes to what I eat. I pay close attention to what goes into my body. I only shop at organic stores and consume things that truly matter.

This restaurant right here is exceptional. The fried rice was amazing, and the fish was just as impressive. Fried rice is my go-to dish whenever I eat out, and I’ve tried quite a few places. I usually get mine from Adom Cuisine, but their fried rice tends to be very oily.

What really stood out to me at OSU Grill was the quality, even hours later, the whiting fish was still soft and flavorful. That never happens with Adom Cuisine; their fish gets hard, and my dog usually ends up eating it instead.

OSU Grill is cleaner, the food is fresher, and the quality is on another level. So goodbye to the oily fried rice from Adom. OSU Grill just earned a new loyal customer! Used to order here almost 2x a week. That’s how good the food is and was. Service is going down. Not sure if they’re overworked but calling to place orders, your call gets rejected and a text message is sent to you like “ can’t talk right now”. Or they place you on hold and never come back. A few times I’ve called they act like they can’t hear me “ saying helllooooo” knowing damn well they can hear me. The chef is frustrated and it translates on the phone. Their food is amazing, but they sometimes forget to pack certain items when you order for delivery, which is really frustrating. For example, one time I ordered the banku and tilapia combo, but when my food arrived, I only received the tilapia with pepper—no banku. Another time, I ordered the fried rice and chicken combo, which is supposed to come with salad, plantains, and pepper as listed on their menu. However, when my food arrived, I only got the rice and chicken—no salad, no shito, no plantains. These are just a few examples…
