Driving here is ok, theres street parking and the location seems not to be too busy, I found parking in a couple of minutes, however it is a residential area so there is alternate side parking, so look out.
At this time there is no inside sitting due to the current state of pandemic, but they have some outside sitting and they are ok, there is a lot of sun on u there but not terrible.
You walk in and this is definitely a hipster style deli/ burger/breakfast place, they take cards and they have a lot of very artesian drinks.
The menu is personalised and the names of the meals is pretty entertaining.
The staff is ok, not overly friendly and not rude, they are fine.
They take cards here.
We walked in and made our order, we made our way out to the table and they brought our meals out to our table.
BURRATA BURGER- I got this burger medium well, cause I dont like my burger to bleed. I think it was a BIG mistake ordering this. The brioche bun was pretty amazing, the burger was ok, the burrata, as expected was dripping all over the place and the TRUFFLE mayo was not at all tasting like truffle, so I assume they must put a dust of truffle so they can call it a truffle mayo. it does not taste like anything. it is a very flavourless sandwich.
I got some fancy hipster drink, and I was ok, I dont remember what it was.
Overall it was good to see the place and try, but I was...
Read moreWe order pickup from here often, and the sandwiches are always phenomenal, but this review is to highlight their customer service.
I placed an order on Seamless, and the delivery time was pretty long, which I expected, since we don’t live particularly close. But when the food didn’t show up 15 min past the window, I gave them a call. The person who picked up immediately tried to find out where my order was, and got in contact with whomever was supposed to deliver it. This person told them it was delivered just a couple of minutes before.
I checked outside my door, the front door of my building, and my neighbors’ doors upstairs - nothing. I called back to let them know and asked if there was another number I should try calling (perhaps the delivery person), and they said don’t worry about it, they would remake it and send it out right away. Food got to me safe and sound!
I’ve had instances with other restaurants when I check on my delivery orders where they are super hostile and basically blame me for not getting my food, but that was not the case here.
Thank you Compton’s!

Read moreCompton’s is such a nice local sandwich shop in Astoria. It’s a small shop mainly for takeout, but when the weather is nice, they have a few tables to sit at outside. Parking in the area wasn’t hard to find since it is located near residential areas. There were so many options of sandwiches and breakfast items to choose from, but we went with the breakfast burrito. It’s such a simple and classic breakfast item, and Compton’s made it so delicious. It came out fresh and hot and was packed with so much stuff. The hashbrown was crispy and salty. The eggs were truly soft scrambled with cheese melted all over. The sausage reminds me of the sausages you’d get at hotels, which are my favorite. The combination of it all and red pepper aioli to top it off was delicious. Astoria is a bit out of the way for me, but I would want to try some of their other items on their menu if I’m in...
