Dado's Pizza and Taproom Harlem — Restaurant in New York

I just happened to stumble upon Dado's Pizza recently. Their first day open was on Wednesday June 23, 2021. It's good to see a local pizza shop in the neighborhood. The kind where you can buy a slice or a pie if you wish. At any rate, I called first to ask what they had and the young man who answered the telephone was courteous and very helpful. He said he would put a slice aside for me and I agreed to walk across the street to pick it up. The pizza was nice and hot when I walked across the street to pick up the pizza. I paid $3 for the slice and I put some condiments on the pizza and left. The pizza was VERY VERY good. The crust had just the right amount of crispness and was not dry. The pizza itself had the right amount of cheese and oil to make it a juicy deliciousness. I recommend you run, not walk to Dados. As they get settled in, I'd like to see Sicilian and other options to cater to vegan and vegetarians such as beyond...

Quick update: They've opened a seating area and the amazing service and stellar pizza remains the same. Please patronize and keep Dado's alive and thriving. Best pizza in Harlem!

Lived in NY for many years and have experienced the good and bad of NY Pizza. Visiting from living currently abroad, staying in Harlem, and craving some real NY pizza before I headed back across the pond.

Decided to order from Dado's because of the 4.9 on Google. Who gets a 4.9. Absurd. Well, Dado's delivered.

The pizza was piping hot, and on time. The pepperoni was slightly charred and curled, yum! And the mushrooms were flavorful. The sauce was fresh, slightly sweet and perfect. And the cheese still melted and flavorful after we walked a short few blocks to our apartment.

Sitting, writing this abroad right now, I'm craving another Dado's pizza. Go get one for me, you will not be...

I literally stumbled on this restaurant when I was in my office (on 125 - Lenox) and wanted to treat my team to lunch (I seriously googled pizza near me!). I called to ask about their menu because I rarely believe reviews...JP answered all my questions and offered to make changes to satisfy dietary restrictions. I said a prayer, crossed my fingers, held my breath, and placed my order! JP delivered on everything! The food was awesome! It was delivered on time, hot, and with all the condiments and extras I asked for but most of all it was delicious, just as JP said it would be! So delicious that I often reach out to JP to place orders for my office. I know when JP says, "I got you" you won't be let down.
