Daniel's Coffee and More is truly a gem in the heart of the Upper East Side! I stumbled upon this cozy coffee haven a few months ago, and it has become my go-to spot for a caffeine fix and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee beans, and the friendly staff makes you feel like you're part of their coffee-loving family. What sets Daniel's apart is their dedication to quality. The coffee is consistently exceptional, whether you prefer a classic cappuccino or one of their creative seasonal blends. They currently have the best fall flavors! The biscoff latte is so delicious. This isn’t your normal coffee shop- they have such unique amazing flavors.

The pastries here are to die for – I can't resist the almond croissants and blueberry muffins. They always have a great selection of delicious food items. Daniel himself is often behind the counter, ensuring that every customer is happy and satisfied which I admire.

Very rude barista, I tried to order a cortado this morning. The definition is a 1:1 ratio of frothed milk to a brewed double shot of espresso. I was asked if I want a single or double and in my experience when I am asked this, they don't know how to make the cortado correctly, so I said we'll actually it's a fixed ratio, then when I was shown a small espresso cup was to be used for the drink I knew it wasn't what I wanted and politely said never mind thank you. Then the barista explains to me that a "traditional cortado" is a shot of espresso with a little foam which is incorrect I since his description is actually a macchiato. I politely said it's okay no thank you I'm just particular about how it's made and tried to leave again. As I was walking away he rudely said it's just coffee no need to have an attitude. Mind you I was the only one in the store, nothing excuses such a comment when I actually couldn't have been more polite to them, I don't see why deciding I didn't want coffee from their shop before placing an order created any sort of hassle for him. Was hankering for something cold and refreshing that gorgeous sunny day and chanced upon this coffee place. I dont drink coffee, but my friend swears how good their coffee is. They use Colombe coffee, so I guess it is a good one. Coffee drinkers know what they want😂. This is a small place and they have other beverages besides coffee. Wanted to write this review because they have very nice polite staff working there. Knocked a star off though because the patrons from next door almost monopolized the tables for this cafe, and nobody came out to make sure their own patrons were able to seat. There are only 2 tables outside so either you just leave or not come...
