Deli On Fifth Avenue — Restaurant in New York

Ordered a Philly and a blt.. blt was ok I guess since bacon is expensive and there is usually not too much bacon most places you go… but the Philly cheesesteak… barely any meat on that. The layer of meat was so thin that parts of the sandwich didn’t even have meat.

Why you do this? You should put an item description that the sandwich will be 95% bread and sauce and 5% meat and veggies. That way I would have thought to myself.. damn.. dem boyz is struggling to pay the bills and I would have donated a few dollars to the store so you can afford to pay the light bill and I would have gotten my sandwich...

This spot used to be the best deli in Bay Ridge, but ever since Moe left it’s gone straight downhill. The new night shift guy is cheap as heck with portions, like he’s paying out of his own pocket. Or the food is coming out his own fridge The sandwiches are tiny, the quality is trash compared to what it used to be, and the place has completely lost what made it good.

Good selection and the people at the store are courteous. I left my wallet at home to walk the dog, and hadn't expected to need money, but they accept Google Pay, so I got a burger.

A bit pricey for a double burger with no cheese and no fries ($9 plus tax) but in an acceptable range for late night. With just lettuce, tomato, and pickle (no cheese, no mayo, no ketchup, etc) the bun was rather soggy, and the burger meat was a bit chewy, so I didn't quite finish the burger.
