Placed my order at 7:30pm… Estimated delivery time was 7:59-8:06pm… I’m literally 5blocks away.. No prob! 8:10pm… No delivery.. I call at 8:15pm, speak with a girl who vehemently states that my order was for pickup!!! No way, not possible, im looking at the order confirmation that says it’s for delivery.. She then puts me on hold and comes back to say that the order is being prepared but it’s for pickup!! I asked to speak with a manager.. He gets on, confirms my information and states the order is coming out of the oven and should be to me within a few mins….

8:45pm NO DELIVERY!!!!!!

I called back to speak with the same manager and he’s no unavailable!! I’m placed on hold and then the line disconnects…

I call back… Speak with a girl who says my order was just handed to someone.. I explained to her that the manager basically said the same thing 30mins ago.. She places me on hold to come back and tell me that she sees my order..

SO THE ORDER WASNT HANDED OFF AS STATED!!!!!!!

It’s now 8:58pm and I still don’t have my order and the restaurant closes at 9pm!!!!!!!

Ended up speaking to a female at 9pm who claimed she was the manager and that the guy I spoke to earlier was not.. She then became irate stating that my order had been waiting to be picked up for the last 30mins and the delivery person never showed up.

The lies and excuses I experienced in the last hour was mind bending!!! Terrible customer service!!!

This was my first and last time ever...

visited only twice

I LOVED everything the first time, ordered a frozen paloma (which was discontinued by the second time I visited - not sure why 😭) and a squared pepperoni, mushrooms and truffle sauce pizza + an appetizer (can't remember which one, I believe it was the fries) but Emmy Squared Pizza had to me to me the best pizza I had ever tried in my life 😂 I talked to everyone I knew about it and returned with my husband and a cousin later on... the service was pretty fast and good that first time, everything was excellent on that first visit

the second time was not good at all

We ordered the same squared pizza because, of course I had to make everybody else try it 😂 but it was so different and not as tasty - I wouldnt even think to order it again... we ordered another squared pizza with jalapeños that was so spicy two of us couldnt even eat it.. the appetizer, some cheesy sticks with pesto, had a little bit way too much salt for our taste... 😅 and the drink I had loved so much was discontinued and I couldn't order it again.

The place was very crowded and service was extremely slow and backed up, the wait was unbearable - an aweful aweful aweful experience this second time 😭

The place looks nice, perfect for a night of drinks and appetizers with some friends or with your partner :)

The first time I visited was so good I would still try going back again to see if I just had really badk luck the...

I am not typically one to leave a review, but I have to say this place went so far beyond my expectations that I just had to talk about it. I decided to go to Emmy Squared for my birthday. We had a party of seven and when we got to the restaurant, it was so busy and for good reason. This is an extremely popular restaurant. We had to wait a couple of minutes for them to get our table ready and the manager, Kairsten, came over to apologize for this minor inconvenience and brought out two caesar salads for the table. We all got drinks and we ordered four pizzas which was enough to feed all seven of us. The pizzas were absolutely wonderful and the espresso martinis were delicious. We got the big ang, margarita, vodka, and truffle pizzas. My personal favorite was the truffle, but everyone at the table had so much trouble deciding which to choose. The restaurant also put my birthday cake in the fridge and when they brought it out, they offered to cut it for us. They ended up also bringing me a very delicious skillet. Apple dessert with ice cream. The entire staff saying happy birthday to me. I can’t thank everyone at Emme Squared enough for making my...

Well rounded mocktails a kick to the throat and that's some the food is amazing The chef is even better and the staff are to die.

One of several Detroit style square pizza places in NYC. This is one of several locations for this restaurant. I have not been to the original location. They also have other sandwiches and fare on the menu. FYI, They sell only by the pie, no slices. The slices in a square themselves are about half the size of typical squares found elsewhere. The square pizza is about the same size you’d find at other Detroit style places. The pizza itself wasn’t bad. The crust was done well and the flavor was decent, but IMHO, the pie really lacked a level of topping for a $26 pie. The pie wasn’t any better than anything else I’ve had in the city. My take is the pizza is rather expensive and the value is questionable when compared to other competitors both nearby (Williamsburg pizza and PQR) and elsewhere in the city, such as Lions and Tigers and Squares, who make equally good tasting and creative pizza. Otherwise the restaurant looks nice and the staff are perhaps the friendliest I’ve ever encountered in the city. Come with friends and make your own judgement.
