Empire Gourmet Deli — Restaurant in New York

The negative reviews here seem to be reflecting their ability to deliver. My review is for the in-store experience. Living right around the corner from this place, I find myself coming here often to pick up beer, snacks, etc. Lately I've been using them for a quick bite as well. I can't speak for all their food, but the deli sandwiches are significantly better than what I'd expect from a bodega. I JUST ORDERED FOOD FROM THIS RESTAURANT CORNER STORE TONIGHT AND I CLEARLY WAITED FOR MY FOOD. I DIDNT GET ANY KNOCKS ON MY DOOR OR ANYTHING AT ALL...THEY DIDNT CALL ME TO ASK FOR HELP OR ANYTHING. THEY SPECIFICALLY WERE SUPPOSED TO ORDER MY FOOD TO MY DOOR AS IT SAYS...THEY LIED AND SAID THAT THEY CAME TO THIS BUILDING AND REFUSED TO ORDER MY FOOT TELLING ME TO COME RUN DOWN STAIRS AND GET IT OUT SIDE. LET'S GET DOWN TO IT. This place is great. 24 hours. The guys inside are great people. I used to hit this place at 2am, 3am, always cool. Great grill. Chopped Cheese is excellent.
