I had a frustrating experience at this establishment. I had visited once before and enjoyed a slice, so I decided to try the penne vodka with shrimp this time. Upon arriving, I greeted the cashier twice, but the customer service was lacking.
I ordered the penne vodka, which was $10.95, but there was no price listed for the shrimp on the menu. Meatballs and chicken were both $3.95, so I assumed shrimp would be around the same price. When I went to pay, my total was $21.50. I asked about the charge, and the rude cashier—who was about 6 feet tall with a heavy beard—told me the shrimp cost $10. For just three shrimp, I was shocked and asked if I could get more. He said it would be an additional $14.50!
I was frustrated, feeling like he was playing with my money and time. I ended up paying the $21.50 and packed up my food, only to notice a charge of $22.25 on my phone. I returned to the register to ask about the extra charge, and the cashier made a poorly timed joke about my credit card use, despite my having been a card member for over 10 years.
To top it off, my food took 20 minutes to prepare, and the cashier's attitude made the experience even worse. I won’t be returning; the food simply wasn’t...
Read moreGot out of the New York Comedy Club and was hungry. Went in on a lark, and it was some of the best pizza I've had while visiting NYC. Large floppy thin crust pizza emblematic of NYC, as well as Roman style pizza. Had their spinach artichoke Roman pizza and a classic Margherita slice. The spinach pizza was creamy and flavorful, with the perfect amount of bread beneath the topping. The Margherita pizza had excellent sauce with a bright freshness to it, and the basil really was able to sing on the simple slice. The wife had a thick crust cheese steak slice, and we shared a piece of Tiramisu cake.
Everything was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly, and we talked about Egypt with one of the guys there. He talked about adding hawawshi to the menu, a meat stuffed pita from Egypt. I'm visiting, but for NYC's sake, I hope he does!

Read moreI had an amazing experience at Roma Pizza. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly/ friendly and attentive, ensuring that everything was perfect throughout my visit.
Now, let’s talk about the pizza—absolutely phenomenal! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of cheese. The sauce had a rich, authentic flavor, and the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. I tried the margarita with sausage and it was easily one of the best I’ve ever had.
Beyond the food, the service was quick, and the overall vibe of the place made it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to any...
