4.5 stars. Farinella’s newest location by Columbus Circle opened about a week ago. They are situated on the corner of 58th and Broadway; perfect spot to hang out, grab a slice and people watch. The decor inside the pizzeria is quite lovely. I loved the mosaic tiled floors and the iconic yellow and white stripes that were everywhere. Inside, there are plenty of seating by the windows and in the back. They also have outdoor seating in front of the pizzeria. Known for their 4ft long pies and square pizza slices. The pizza here are artisanal and delicious, so expect to pay the price for one. A single slice costs anywhere from $4.50-$8. I don’t think I could afford to come here daily but would go here when I want to splurge on specialty pizza. I visited today after work and there was only one other person eating indoors; most of their customers were eating outside in this nice weather. I ordered a slice of the Funghi pizza. The pizza was quite good. I liked that the dough was crispy but also slightly chewy. The mozzarella they used tasted very fresh and soft. And the pizza had lots of thickly sliced mushrooms. The slice I got was cut in half and surprisingly large-ish in size. For dessert, I ordered a Bomboloni (Italian donut) stuffed with Nutella. The donut was rolled in sugar and stuffed with Nutella. Surprisingly, not overly sweet! I wish I had gotten a latte to go with this dessert instead of the soda I purchased with my meal. I think that a good strong hot coffee would have been fabulous with the Bomboloni. Overall, a very lovely first visit—well worth the price. There’s so much on the menu that I want to try! I guess I’ll just have to plan another visit very soon.

If you're on the hunt for an exceptional pizza experience, look no further than Farinella Pizzeria and Cafe. This gem offers a delightful blend of traditional recipes and modern flavors that will leave your taste buds dancing. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a fantastic meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The menu boasts a wide variety of pizzas, each crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The crust is a standout feature—perfectly thin and crispy, yet just chewy enough to hold up under generous toppings. I opted for the Margherita pizza, and it was nothing short of perfection. The tomato sauce was rich and flavorful, the fresh mozzarella melted beautifully, and the basil added a fragrant touch that elevated every bite. But it doesn’t stop at pizza! The cafe also offers a selection of delightful appetizers and desserts. The garlic knots are a must-try, served warm and buttery, perfect for sharing—or keeping all to yourself! What truly sets Farinella apart is their commitment to quality and flavor. Each pizza is made to order, ensuring that every pie is fresh out of the oven and bursting with taste. Whether you're dining in or taking out, you can expect the same high standard of excellence.

As a New York visitor it's hard to decide where to spend each of my precious few lunchpizza opportunities. I'm very glad I picked Farinella this time! Quick rundown: -delicious pizza. The style is light on the sauce, with a thin crispy crust. -by the slice, prizes range from ~$5.50 to ~$8.50 and they're generous with the toppings -very adequate seating, and if you're eating in you get a paper-lined tray which is easier to eat from than a plate -coffee and a variety of soda drink options -upbeat atmosphere with music that's ambient but not blaring And the staff was very friendly and eager to serve us! Seriously, 5/5 and despite the swathe of options New York has to offer, I'll be coming back for my next lunch pizza.

Farinella Pizza and Bakery – A Slice of Italian Perfection

If you’re a pizza lover with a taste for authenticity, Farinella Pizza and Bakery is a must-visit. Tucked away in a cozy corner, this gem offers a true Italian experience right in the heart of the city.

Pizza: The pizza at Farinella is a standout. The crust is perfectly thin with a slight crisp on the edges, giving that ideal balance of chew and crunch. The toppings are fresh and flavorful, with high-quality ingredients like San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil. My personal favorite is their Margherita pizza – simple but bursting with flavor. They also offer unique seasonal specials that are worth trying.

Bakery: In addition to the pizza, their bakery items are a delight. From fresh focaccia to sweet pastries like bomboloni (Italian doughnuts), everything is baked fresh daily. The bomboloni, filled with a creamy custard or rich chocolate, are an absolute treat.

Ambiance: The atmosphere at Farinella is warm and inviting, with a rustic yet modern decor. It’s the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a laid-back dinner with friends. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help you choose the perfect slice or pastry.

Service: The service is quick, and the staff’s passion for quality food shines through in their recommendations and attention to detail. Even when it’s busy, they maintain a level of care that makes you feel welcome.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick slice or grabbing a pastry to go, Farinella delivers on all fronts. It’s a wonderful spot that captures the essence of Italian flavors, and I can’t...
