I LOVE this place so it pains me to write this review. My girl and I stopped in New Year's Eve with a craving for fries at about 6:30 PM. We ordered a large which is $6.25 plus tax. We order fries semi-often and we know the servings are generous.
When our number was called, we looked in the bag and saw the cup was half empty and there was literally a handful of fries underneath. No one seemed to respond when we asked if this was actually large fries. It seemed like a child's portion.
The manager refunded our money and I was still angry. My girlfriend was more calm. She asked for a receipt since we wanted to leave feedback on the corporate site. It's so unusual to NOT try to rectify the problem before just refunding the money and leaving two customers unhappy. We did not get a receipt.
At that point, the manager told us to keep our refund and he made sure the large fries were made properly (and generously) and sent us on our way.
In the end, it was the right result, but it's left us feeling uneasy about retuning to that specific location due to Customer Service issues. The fries were TERRIFIC, but the transaction was far from...
Read moreFive Guys offers a premium burger that can compete with SmashBurger, Applebees, Red Robin, and even Bobby Flay's burgers, at a competitive price.
This is not your typical McDonalds or Burger King or Wendy's fare - go to 5 Guys when you are HUNGRY.
Their "little" burgers are made with a single (large) patty and are big enough for all but the hungriest diners.
The small fries are a meal in itself and are fried in peanut oil (which is healthier than soy or the other questionable oils used by others, assuming you don't have a peanut allergy). There are free peanuts (in the shell) there for the taking, as if the food wasn't enough to satisfy you. Obviously you should not walk in if you have a peanut allergy, otherwise this is a top choice in the area if you are looking for a great burger and willing to pay a little more than...
Read moreGreat experience , great place , super friendly and nice employees , burgers are delicious , normal size , they fill you well - Cheese Burger is around $9.90currently , I guess this is standard diameter for burgers . Fries are completely different from McDonald's one , which are crunchy outside and sofr inside , Five guys fries are soft and particially with the little bit of the potato skin ( great for fiber ) and that's what I love about them . What was very impressive is the Great selection on Coca cola sodas and water products (Dasani) , Sprite and dr.Pepper , you can get Coke regular or diet , with or without caffeine , Vanilla , Cherry , Cherry-Vanilla , Orange and many more . I guess due to pandemic , peanuts 🥜 are gone , but the burgers are still there .Great place for quick lunch , dinner or whatever...
