🗽 3 Must-Visit Coffee Shops in NYC | Work with a 360° Manhattan Skyline View

This was my first time at this location of Gasoline Alley Coffee, and it shall not be my last. I was in the area, and wanted to have a cup of coffee, and spend time with one of my journals. There was no indoor seating available, but this was a nice, mildly warm sunny day on a Saturday, in the Lower East Side, after 3:30PM, so I was not surprised there was no indoor seating available. The coffee was very strong, the apple pastry was lovely and delicious. The staff was super professional and the person who took my order was very outgoing and friendly. I did not see a bathroom, but was not looking for one, so it is OK. Being Cuban, I can fully appreciate a strong cup of coffee, and look forward to returning, when I AM back in that area.

Wedged into a wedge formed by Mulberry, Lafayette, Bleeker, and Bleecker Streets—Gasoline Alley is cozy-ish coffee shop with a mix of modern and classic element in its aesthetic…nonetheless, coffee is served hot and strong whether you’re ordering an Americana or Latte unless you’re ordering something iced, but i digress. it’s very much a good vibes casual coffee spot that i enjoyed over the years. there’s a little bit of seating inside and on the sidewalk, but it’s very much a grab n go for caffeine versus a place where’d you camp out. and this works for me as lines move quick when i am running through NoHo. friendly-ish staff who deal smiles without a pause. a good place to catch your breath and enjoy a caffeinated brew.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Outstanding! Gasoline Alley Coffee is hands down one of the best coffee spots I’ve ever been to. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy—casual, authentic, and focused entirely on great coffee without any pretension.

The baristas are incredibly skilled and genuinely passionate about what they do. They don’t just make your drink; they take the time to do it right. Every espresso shot I’ve had here is pulled perfectly: rich, smooth, and full of flavor without bitterness. Their drip coffee is equally impressive—clean, bold, and consistently well-balanced.

The atmosphere is simple yet inviting, with a no-frills design that keeps the focus where it belongs: on high-quality coffee. It’s the kind of place where locals and coffee purists go, and you can tell right away you’re getting something special.

I also appreciate how efficient and friendly the service is. Even when it’s busy, they keep things moving without making you feel rushed. You leave not just with an excellent cup of coffee, but with the feeling that the people behind the counter care about their craft.

If you’re serious about coffee—or just want a place that consistently delivers outstanding drinks—Gasoline Alley Coffee is a must-visit. Truly outstanding...

Horrible experience, I was there today and I spend 9$ dollars for a pastry and a hot chocolate, the barista lady name Steph got upset because the cashier sold me a item that I really don’t understand wasn’t supposed to sell but it was at the front in a basket, I purchase it anyway, she got so mad then I was waiting on my hot chocolate and took other customers ahead of me then when she handle me the hot chocolate she gave it to me with a nasty attitude with anger, I asked her if I did something wrong, and she was extremely rude and nasty, I am pregnant you know she made me feel so horrible and unwelcome like I was a Alien or something, I don’t understand what is her problem, they need to hire more friendly people, I decide not to drink the hot chocolate with this kind of bad energy, this is my first time and last time in my life I will ever come again to this place, I rather Cho to Levine they are super friendly and nice they will give you better service. I don’t...

This place is a big win for coffee lovers in the USA. I was recommended to try it, and I'm thrilled I did. We Aussies are quite particular about our coffee—no filter coffee for us since the 1990s! It's all about espresso, complete with beanies, beards, and tattoos on our baristas.

The coffee here was fantastic—smooth, creamy, and free from bitterness. The female barista was exceptional and could easily work in any café back home. The space is small with limited seating, primarily catering to take-out customers, but sitting at the bar-style table by the window, people-watching, was still enjoyable. They offer some food options, though we didn't sample any.

My daughter tried an iced chocolate and declared it the best she's had here. This coffee far exceeded my expectations, surpassing even the Aussie-style coffee marketed by other venues in the city. Gasoline Alley actually delivers better coffee, so a huge thank you to them. I highly recommend stopping by...
