I like many others was attracted to the cafe due to its lush greenery on social media. So I decided to go. Its entrance is not the last entrance on the street but rather second to last. While the cafe is on the second floor, on the basement level is a rock climbing wall/area. It has lockers on the first floor in front of the elevator you can use to get to the cafe (in addition to the stairs that are closer to the entrance). There is truth in advertising because the cafe is as green as it appears with real flora. Even the stairs are covered with greenery off to the side. The Bo Lo Yau (pineapple bun with butter) had a crunchy top, a good smash of sweetness and saltiness. The pork bun had more onion than I preferred, but still good. Egg tart was fine.
While the HK Milk Tea had a strong flagrant tea taste, the milk wasn’t up to par as the drink was not as silky as I had expected. Not sure if evaporated milk was used.
The atmosphere is amazing. Lively and crowded, yet it still feels very spacious due to the open atrium. The wood, plants and dark metal give it a welcoming warmth. The customers are very chill and mellow. Everyone is busy...
