Had a disappointing experience this afternoon. When I placed my order I asked for an iced black lychee tea with 30% sugar. After the salesperson rang up the order, I repeated "That was an iced tea, yes?" and she repeated that it wasn't and the man making the drinks said, "None of our teas are iced unless you request it," in an exasperated voice. Perhaps they both were just having a bad day? I've always had a great experience at the Gong Cha locations in the city and was excited that they opened one in my neighborhood. For a $6 iced tea, I'd expect better service. Hopefully other customers get better treatment...

I ordered a taro milk tea and she asked if whole milk was ok, which I appreciated. I opted for almond milk. It was a great price at $5.50 for a medium and I got it very quickly.
