I went to watch a friend’s movie screening at the Film Noir Cinema at Greenpoint, Brookyln. The theatre can seat around 50 people and the nearest subway stop is Nassau Avenue (G train). The experience was wonderful! The theatre is centrally located and has a host of food options nearby. The seats are comfortable and the theatre is pretty spick and span! There are a lot of film DVDs as you enter the theatre. Totally recommend for anyone wanting to display their work of art to a small audience!

So great to have a theater back in Greenpoint even if it is only one screen. The movies are old and obscure, which is cool, but it would be great to mix in some classic/more well-known movies as well. Great vibes tho. They sell a limited selection of snacks and drinks, including that white cheddar popcorn and a few different types of beer.

YES!!! saw a double feature and it's an amazing place for movies you really want to experience. Chairs are sooo comfy, DVD for sale collection was impressive. 5 dollar models beers were great! It's cash only. But people need to go and keep this gem going. The owner was cool and it was just a lovely experience

Amazing cozy screening room. Wonderful storefront with RENTABLE FILMS YES YOU HEARD ME! RENTABLE!! mostly niche, bizarre, weird, cult, horror and similar but I think if you’re into the stuff there you’d know even from that vague awful description of genres lol

Best part is the man who owns it is really great. He made my experience and it wouldn’t be the same or as AMAZING a place without him. You can tell he truly cares sooo much and has so much pride in film noir.. as a result you not only see how much he cares but FEEL it through everything and has such a personal touch to top it off.

I was and still am shocked I’d never heard of this place until a month ago?! I’ve lived in Brooklyn (specifically Williamsburg, Bushwick) the last 6-7+ years and seriously still am shocked but so happy i ended up finding it because it’s better finding out about it late than never at all..

Thankfully the new boy harsher film was screening exclusively there 1 night only so was introduced to this amazing Narnia like film rental & store + screening room.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE GO VISIT THIS PLACE AND CATCH ONE OF THEIR SCREENINGS IF POSSIBLE!!

The owner has created something wonderful and works so hard to make sure everyone is able to enjoy it at the full potential he knows is possible (since he did...

Wow, I knew they were screening great films here but I had no idea the very high level of quality they would achieve in comfort as well as crisp bright projection and high quality audio. I've been missing out on this place for years. Be sure to stop by in person and ask about that day's films, sometimes they screen an extra not on...
