Wow!!!!! Just had the oxtails, rice & sweet plantains and man I'm not disappointed!!! Emily E was friendly and welcoming such a sweetheart; i was originally going to take out but she made me feel so welcomed i ended up staying and grabbing a beer while dining in. The food was excellent; wow!!! The best oxtails I had so far from a Dominican spot. The plantains was gd and sweet and the oxtails and rice was definitely on point. Thank you again Emily; the next time I'm around 135th street I'll stop thru for another banging meal. The presentation of the food was a pleasant surprise. Inside they have seating all through out. Staff were helpful and made the check out process smooth. They also have an upstairs section I didn’t get to check out. I ordered the tres golpe. The mangu was good. That queso Frito had that nice salty cheesy taste. The salami was savory. The egg was cooked just right. Then I got the tamarind juice it was sweet and refreshing.
