Halal Munchies — Restaurant in New York

The food wait time is incredible and by that I mean incredibly slow. Everytime I go there I have to wait at least 15 minutes to get my food and that is after the 5-10 minutes wait I have to endure standing in line.

Their chicken and rice is usually serve pretty fast but order literally anything else on their menu and you have to wait and wait. During the time you will see people coming in and out all getting their food faster than you.

I waited 20 minutes once for a chopped cheese sandwich. Their ground beef was literally frozen solid when they threw it on the grill.

This time I waited 15 minutes for two grill chicken sandwiches and 1 chicken pita. It took them literally 13 minutes to cook 4 chicken tenders to put on my grill chicken sandwiches m. Including the 8 minutes I stand in line, it is pretty ridiculous.

These people also move slow or unorganized.

Sometime I think maybe my race and gender have something to do with it. As a polite single Asian male I usually don’t receive good service or at least enthusiastic services like when they serve a female or those ppl that you will know will tear the place up and cause a scene. if you dare to give them any bad service or make them wait a long time.

This place really needs to start giving ppl warning about how long their food is going to take. If it takes longer than 10 minutes for someone to get their food, it is no longer fast food.

This place is going to be my last late night food option...
