Bang Cookies - City Point Brooklyn — Restaurant in New York

I came here after a midday Trader Joe’s run, you know trying to avoid the crowd, so it wasn’t busy at all! It was my first time, so I had excited. The young man, the employee at the register, was AMAZING, he was helpful and kind.

However the same can not be said for the other employee, the moment 3 additional customers came in the store he become curt and rushed. He even went as far as to start yelling, before any customers arrived at the counter, that they don’t have mini cookies. I understand from an operational perspective, trying to move the line along, but it came off very rude and it was not welcoming. as mentioned, it was my first time visiting and unfortunately, it will probably be my last.

I could excuse the curt and rushed tone, we are in NY so it’s a bit expected. but the quality of the cookie itself was NOT worth the $5 I paid. The cookie was DRYYYY, yet stodgy at the same time, not a great combo… especially given this was the batch I was told just came out of the oven. overall it was quite disappointing!

I had such a great experience at this Bang Cookies location! The cookies were absolutely delicious—soft, gooey, and packed with flavor. I tried a couple of different ones, and every bite was amazing.

What really stood out to me, though, was the customer service. Angel was incredibly helpful and friendly. He took the time to explain the different flavors and helped me pick out exactly what I was craving. His positive attitude made the whole experience even better. It’s not every day you come across someone who’s so good at making customers feel welcome.
