If it's sunny and gorgeous, then I'm taking my @HUTCH + WALDO CAFE NYC bacon + egg roll to go. 🍳 This Australian café is located at 300 Vesey Street. What's your favorite lunch spot at #BrookfieldPlace?

Thrilled to discover this hidden gem close to the World Trade Center but right on the water! What a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, smoothies, açai bowls and chicken burritos! We probably over ordered, but everything was delicious! All the ingredients were so fresh! I've never had açai out of a soft serve machine and it was perfect! the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable! We're going to start our day with breakfast at Hutch And Waldo again tomorrow!

I found Hutch and Waldo because I wanted something healthy for breakfast but was avoiding the typical bagel NYC is known for. I ordered the Chai Raw Granola not really knowing what to expect. It took a bit to prepare but when i saw the arrangment of banana's, blueberries and strawberries I was excited. From the first bite to the last one it was good and flavorful. I had them everyday while on vacation. Great view of the Hudson River.

Updated Summer of '25. H&W again delivers a delicious, healthy breakfast. It can not be overstated how great their fresh bread is. If you want a welcome change from bagels or ultra-processed carbs, H&W is for you. Their sandwiches are top notch for what is on the inside, but also because of the healthful super-fresh bread. H&W never ceases to deliver. Food is fresh, very healthy and delicious. Coffee is high octane strength. Everyone in our somewhat "picky" household can get something that they really like. There is so much variety to the menu. Many thanks to their brilliant chefs. All the sides are scrumptious, incl. coconut yoghurt. We forgot to mention the high quality of the veg, the feta cheese, and the...

Hutch and Waldo is the BEST!!! I’m so happy this location opened up downtown. The vibes are 10/10 and this will be my new go to coffee shop. The coffee itself was exceptional, brewed to perfection and bursting with flavor. Their selection of pastries and snacks complemented the drinks perfectly, adding an extra layer of indulgence to my visit. The attention to detail in every aspect of the cafe truly sets Hutch and Waldo apart. I can't wait to return and explore more of their offerings. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch coffee and/or brunch...

The coffee is great.however will not be getting coffee anymore. This is a coffee in financial district on NYC where the baristas are refusing ti take your order because they find it rude if you are on the phone. Meanwhile not sure if they realize where they work, and that people are on hurry all the time going to the office. I had put myself on mute while on a corporate call - being very respectful to be denied to be served. It blew my mind how such a good coffee shop can actually have such a low quality of...
