It’s Him — Restaurant in New York

Great scenery , great hotel luxurious scent , great cocktails, handsome men working here , great customer service. What more could you want? I can see why this place has so many regulars. Stepped in on Saturday night with a girl-friend of mine and we had lotttsssss of fun. My gay friends know nothing about this place —had no idea it even existed until I stopped by thinking it was an inclusive bar, then the doorman told me it’s a gay club lounge. The heart of this place however is the staff, they’re so attentive, friendly and charming. This place definitely is bringing a whole lot of competition to the Hell’s kitchen gay scene. The service is genuine unlike Balcon, Rise and Mickey's.Lol. It was super busy, met the really cute busser Jona because he was running around busting himself to provide top tier service and accommodations. He is a very sweet man, who made sure me and my girlfriend were very comfortable. He is extremely professional! The only bad thing I can say is the extreme heat, hopefully they address the temperature in the place because we were so ready to leave but me and my friend were so into Jona, definitely ask for him! Will definitely bring my gay friends to this place! To the owner of this establishment, you’re so lucky to have great experienced bartenders who are so hot...

A couple of my friends and I were in the Hell’s kitchen neighborhood when we stumbled upon It’s him bar and lounge. It was a Saturday night , we saw a line of people waiting to get in and my friends and i became curious and decided to check it out. IT WAS PACKED….But the bartenders were calm , collective and efficient. The place is gimmicky but honestly it fits the aesthetic of the place — well considering the employees that work there. We got lucky enough to find a table considering it was really busy —The Busser Jonah immediately made room and space for us to get comfortable — asked about our night , all whilst cleaning and picking up the previous groups glasses and garbage. This man was so calm , sharp and attentive. We had to catch his name before he left because he made us feel so welcomed. I definitely recommend trying the grapefruit martini , Vesper and their peanut Martini…. delicious cocktails… i also found out that the place isn’t even a year old which is absurd considering how well organized this place is. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great music and a good crowd.The DJ was great.We couldn’t catch her name because it was too packed to literally get through , but she was so in tuned and vibing...

If the name isn’t bad enough, the service is. The problem started as soon as we entered the bar. We were hoping for a sophisticated cute cocktail moment. Nope. For an overpriced cocktail bar, you’d think there’d be some desire to have good service. There were two guys just standing around on their phones while we sat down and no one came to greet us or ask if we wanted anything. We asked one of them if we could order and he said “yes..someone would come over.” The guy proceeded to continue doing something on his iPad. When he was done he made one of the hardworking bartenders come over and take our order. Long story short, this guy turned out to be the owner! He didn’t seem to have any problem with this poor customer service and from the other reviews seems like he treats his staff terribly, which we witnessed.
