Laundromat — Local services in New York

I went to this location today in the morning and ended up leaving mid afternoon. Why? I put my clothes in 3 dryers, 2 of which did the job and 1 didn't on my first try. When I came back, I noticed that 1 of the dryers did not dry my clothes at all and I had put in a ton of quarters at that point. I spoke to the short mexican lady with a mustache working there, and asked her if the machine was in default. She told me no with an attitude and that I should just put in more quarters so I did as there were no other machines available and I believed her. Once again, I came back to find my clothes hadn't been dry at all so I reached back out to this lady who yet again told me to just add more quarters so this time, I did and stayed to watch. I noticed every 1-2 minutes, the machine would stop until it was manually pressed again and even still, there was no heat being generated. I brought this up to the lady and told her that at this point, I had put in about 6 dollars worth of quarters which was all wasted, expecting either a refund or added minutes on one of the other dryers. She told me to wait a minute and proceeded to continue her task while I waited there staring at her do so for 20 minutes. I went back to her and reminded her what the issue was and yet again, she told me to wait and proceeded to continue folding clothes. I waited for another 30 minutes or so as this lady disrespected me, until another mexican lady showed up and told her what happened. This new lady told me that she has no idea what was going on as she is just clocking in and I should check with the other short mexican lady which I did. This short mexican lady told me that there was nothing she could do for me and if I don't like it, I should take my clothes elsewhere. I went back to the new mexican lady who had just clocked in and told her that I was very close to losing my patience with the other lady and creating a scene. The new mexican lady made a nice gesture and gave me 30 minutes on another dryer which was currently being used for drop-off clients as there weren't any others available. Whoever is the owner of this establishment needs to fire that short lady with the mustache. She's the reason why I will never again step foot in this establishment. She wasted hours of my time and made snide remarks in spanish about me when in reality, I should have been the one losing...

The delivery guy gets a 5+++++ I'm tired of the the money getting stuck in the washer and then you wind up paying more for your load. No one cares. Today was the last straw. I asked if I left a bag there, the Latina woman went to look and got it for me. With attitude. I asked if there was a red sock that I knew I left in the bag, she said I "was lucky to get the bag." I asked her why she is always mean to me when I come in. She said "I was just nice to you I gave you your bag" That's customer service? I have watched her berate the Asian woman who works there, yelling at her like she is a child. Don't confuse the two Latina's that work there, the one is really nice. :) The first one mentioned is always nice to men, straight or gay, but if you are female and especially white, you can guarantee she is not going to be nice. Updating my review from 1 star to 4. They purchased new machines and that women no longer works here. Machines work and the store is better operating.

—- The people working the store can be very nice, one shorter Mexican women is extremely rude and doesn’t communicate well; incompetent. I had machines steal my money on two occasions, I didn’t even want my money back I was just trying to explain to her that it didn’t work so that she can advise someone. She made me take out my money and count it to her to prove I have less quarters than I cashed. She then threw 3 quarters at me for my trouble. What a rude individual. I asked for contact information for the manager and she said there is no manager.

Also no oversight here, I saw people washing their shoes, that shouldn’t be allowed.
