We absolutely adore this tiny bar in Hell's Kitchen. It possesses all of the elements that we love: fab music, friendly patrons, a chill vibe, lots of seats around the bar, dim lighting & an absolutely fantastic bartender.

Since this place is so small the bartender is required to be the bouncer, card ID'er, bar back, dishwasher & drink pourer. And no one does this better than Orlea. She has absolutely perfected customer service. She knows how to interact with a customer. She knows how to play terrific music. She knows how to wash glasses quickly (hopefully there is space for a glass washing machine some day).

From the moment we walked in, we became friends — seriously, it was love at first vibe! The drinks were delicious and playful (one had a little shark 🦈), the music was on point, and the whole place felt like a cozy, magical corner of the city.

The bartender was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It didn’t feel like just going out for drinks — it felt like joining a little family for the night. Pocket Bar is a safe space, full of warmth, creativity, and connection.

Thank you for the glowing candles, the tiny dancers, the popcorn, and the beautiful energy. We’ll definitely be back. 💛

I have spent many a night at this little gem of a bar having had great wine, great conversation and in great company. It’s a neighborhood spot that welcomes folks from any and all neighborhoods. The bar staff are all top notch — knowledgeable, friendly, just the right amount of curious and fantastically interesting. You want to be left alone with your Sunday paper, ain’t no thang. You want to strike up a conversation with a (soon to be) new friend, you’re in the right place. Easy and chill without feeling too, well, easy and chill. It’s an every kinda night kinda place. Oh, and did I mention there’s popcorn? Yeah....
