I’ve been wanting to try out this bakery for quite some time now, but due to my schedule, I kept missing their hours of operation. Recently, I finally got a chance to visit. Since it was my first time, I took my time looking over the pastry selection and asked a question or two. Unfortunately, the woman at the counter responded in a way that made me feel as though I was being annoying or that my questions were silly.(Mind you I just asked if they will be making anymore of a particular pastry I seen advertised on their website.)
I brushed it off and went ahead with my order—though I felt rushed, despite being the only customer in line and the bakery being nearly empty. I initially thought maybe the staff member( tall , light skin ,short hair woman ) was just having an off day, so I tried to lighten the mood and engage with the owner, who was seated behind the counter. Based on the owners social media presence, I expected someone warm and welcoming, but that day, she seemed disengaged and cold. There was no greeting, no smile—just a blank expression, even when I tried to spark a bit of conversation.
On a positive note, the bakery is beautifully decorated and the pastries were delicious. Still, I left feeling disappointed by the overall customer service experience, especially since I had such high expectations from what I’d seen online.
This isn’t meant to come off as negative—just an honest account of my visit. I truly hope the owner receives this as constructive feedback. I’d love to see this bakery continue to grow and succeed, and I’d hate for poor customer service to be the reason it...
Read moreHey there, listen up! I may not be a newbie when it comes to food, you hear me, not a total IDIOT! I've been a foodie for ages and I sure as heck appreciate some good old hard work in the kitchen. Now, let's dive into this review, shall we? Not only is her kitchen spotless, roomy, and drop-dead gorgeous, but that Turkey sausage roll... oh boy, even for someone who's not usually into Turkey sausage, it was absolutely divine! And let's not forget about her fruit tart - just the perfect balance of pastry and fruit. Tinka is the bomb - so warm and welcoming. Some of the best service I've ever experienced in Brooklyn, and let me tell you, I'm a true blue New Yorker through and through. I'm no social media influencer who's all about the likes - you can trust and believe me on that one. Anyway, I give this place a whopping 100 stars! Big shoutout to the owner - she really knocked it out of the park with her cooking, and you can definitely taste the love she puts into it.

Read moreThe cafe was super cute and spacious and is a great addition to the neighborhood overall. I have 4 stars because I really enjoyed my savory breakfast croissant and almond croissant. I am not a fan of super sweet items and I found the macaron and the lemonade to be super sweet as well as the lemonade I purchased. I had to add water to my lemonade when I got home for it to be drinkable. I know some people like that but I prefer when cafes err on the side of not sweetening drinks too much so that customers can decide their tolerance.
Additionally, I found the coffee to be quite overpriced compared to other neighborhood cafes (drip coffee at $5 feels unfair…) and $4 for a singe macaron is also quite high…for reference I was in Paris last week and bought 4 for $8 in a very expensive neighborhood. I know that comparison may not hit per se but I was very shocked at the sticker price to be honest. I will come back for sure but may purchase only savory items or simple croissants.
I hope this feedback was...
