I have been to soft 2 times and each time was blown away by how relaxing the experience was. The owner is gentle with my natural hair (which is very important to me) and the supporting staff (her husband) is also very kind. The decor is very nice. They make getting my hair done feel like a spa experience which is completely different than the experience I had in hair salons growing up (stressful). And my hair received tons of compliments.

I went to SOFT yesterday for a Silk Press, and I enjoyed the experience! The salon is located in the heart of Bed-Stuy, located close to trains, with ample parking in the area(I went during the week in the late afternoon).

The owner and head stylist has created a wonderful and calming atmosphere. They provided me with a glass of tasty wine, a robe, adding to the already warm welcome.

Paris, the head stylist and owner, is knowledgeable, asked really good questions about my hair routine, and provided me with easy-to-follow advice that I'll be implementing. She knows her stuff! Also, I am not a "hair-girl," and sometimes stylists can be rather annoying about that, but she was super chill!

The salon uses ultra high-end, clean products that I can already tell left my hair feeling much more manageable and hydrated. I've been on the lookout for a salon that specializes in textured hair, and I'm so glad...

Have been wanting to go here for a while, and I finally got my wish—and the experience was everything I wanted and more! To start, Paris provided invaluable insight into how I can refine my regimen to achieve my hair goals. Secondly, her energy was so incredibly pleasant and it matched the warm and inviting vibe that she and her husband have cultivated in the salon (which has a lovely spa-like aesthetic). Lastly, her work is incredible! She gave me a BEAUTIFUL cut and silk press (I have 4c hair fwiw), and I’m so excited to show it off at my friend’s wedding tomorrow. I can’t wait to come back for my next appointment. Definitely can’t recommend...

I was referred to the Soft and Well salon from an old coworker of mine and I’m so happy I ended up following through with an appointment. I went in for a silk press after having a protective style in for 5 weeks so my hair wasn't the easiest to manage. Paris is who serviced me and she was extremely gentle and attentive from start to finish. Not to mention her products are amazing! It calmed my hair and made it SO soft.
