Let me start by saying the staff there are nice but it was my first time visiting a Joe and the Juice and just a terrible experience. I came in, took a lot at the menu and decided on a shake and a bowl. Told the cashier my name, showed her my debit card so she could spell it right easily and then proceeded to wait. I saw down at 10AM. I saw there was a family of 4-5 people and 1 other woman before me so I expected a bit of a wait and say at the seating across from pickup. It was around 10:20AM and the last in front of me had just been given her order. Seemed a bit long for the basic menu they have but I thought I'd be next, then I noticed people being served that came after me so I went to the counter to inquire as it's been 30 minutes! To which I'm told they were calling my name, and I let them know I've been sitting directly across from them and no one has called my name. They say that who took my order spelled my name wrong. I did get them calling out a name but aside from the first 3 letters, it was a completely different name! Also if the cashier knew that was the name she wrote instead of my actual name, I would have expected her to wave at me or tell her peers that the order was for me as I was sitting directly across from the counter. My name is Marichi and the called for Marissa, how was i suppose to know that was mine? That there wasn't someone actually named Marissa?! Finally get my order after half an hour and the bowl, for $13 is only like 10 oz and the shake really lacked flavor as the avocado was the only thing I could taste. Disappointing $23 experience, really could have went down one more block to Cava and got a fresh juice and larger bowl for the same price. Maybe I'll give it another try as I know people who say it's decent but...

I NEVER LEAVE BAD REVIEWS BUT I came to the store this evening Jan 15, 2021 during the hour of 8 pm. I ordered what i always order at any Joe and the Juice Flatbread sandwich with Extra avocado, tomatoes, jalapeños, spinach, cucumbers salt/pepper and oil. The gentlemen that took my order, repeated it back to me and asked if I had an allergy to mozzarella cheese or pesto because they modify the avocado sandwich and charge for the extras. I said no i was just on a detox and wanted no meat or dairy. He typed in every item. I was charged a total of $28 and change for the 2 sandwiches which was fine because i asked for extra items. (normal price $9.80) When I got home and bit in to the sandwich there was cheese and all he added were cucumbers to the sandwich and left off the pesto. This was clear vindictiveness on the part of the employee because he knew i would not discover this until after they closed. The nerve of me to ask for a modification and pay for it! I even left a 15% tip. I'll be returning these first thing in the morning and never coming back to this location again. 67 Wall street is...

I feel a bit ambiguous about this place. It is modern and nice and there is a wide range of smoothies and juices and they also have sandwiches. But I hated the board where you can see the juice options because it isn't clear, the different juices were written onto different places on the board so when I chose and ordered mine I realized later that there were more options too... The sandwich was also weird a bit, I really liked it but it wasn't a bun, it was like a cracker or something and between the two layers were this tuna filling. I ordered a Stress down juice with strawberries and it was divine! But they forgot my order... My husband was eating his sandwich and I was just waiting for my juice and eventually it turned out that they simply forgot about it... And the place is pretty noisy, we barely could hear each other. Anyways if you are there it is worth...
