Gabby the hostess/waitress was lousy. If you have family, do not go here. They force children to sit outside in the cold, not even under the heater. Good ol' Gabby said it was sunny, so it shouldn't be that cold....it was a balmy 30 degrees in February, so she had a point 🙄. Any way, take your family elsewhere and patronize a place that actually accommodates families and doesn't discriminate against. Maybe if we were hipsters and we had a hipster baby with us, we would have been allowed to grace the indoors of this hipster establishment. Gabby should be fired, but since it won't happen, she should be demoted to a low level table cleaner.

3/1/21 response to owners reply:

I have many friends that work for government agencies. Not one government agency is enforcing a rule that requires families with small children sit outside, when there is adequate space to accommodate a stroller indoors in a safe manor.

Furthermore, we will definitely not...

I was so surprised that when I came in on a Saturday morning there was no line! The decor was tasteful and eclectic, giving off a comfortable vibe.

I ordered the lamb sausage and tried my friends savory bread pudding. The sausage itself was delicious and full of flavor, but my main gripe is with the grits at the bottom. The grits were gelatinous and way too solid and bland. I really wish the sausage was paired with something else or the grits were better prepared.

As for the savory bread pudding, it was indeed savory, an interesting twist on what's normally a dessert food. Looking at the two dishes, I can immediately see that the food items on the menu are just as quirky as the decor, resulting in a...

June does a great job of focusing on quality wine selection and gas for years now. They also seem to be focusing on staying relevant with local trends (there was WINNER bread on the menu last night), which is in my opinion an indication of being thoughtful about what they add to their menu.

I've always recommended this place to people, it's great for dates, meetups with friends, or important dinners. The interior (and exterior) design is fantastic, and the staff are both professional and relaxed (which seems to be a new trend among modern restaurants - take yourself seriously enough to have a good experience, but not so seriously that people feel...

A casual Brooklyn restaurant with cute inside and outside seating. When booking it is best to choose covered outdoor seating - they you will be in the backyard but under the roof and have great visibility of outside without leaves and random stuff falling in your food. My burger was wonderful, ricotta salad was a bit underwhelming but well seasoned and I enjoyed their selection of natural and orange wines. The service is a bit too hipsterish and engaging but we are in Brooklyn. For the area i would say it is the best restaurant for a spring/ summer date night.

I've only recently discovered this spot and find it just absolutely perfect in every way. The place is dripping in atmosphere- such a cozy little spot and I'd imagine it'll be even better on a cold night. Natural wines- sampled all the reds last night- yes-- if it's not too busy, they'll entertain you with samplings. I had the chicken thigh with mashed potatoes. Savory and delicious. My friend had the burger and as she lives nearby, said she'll absolutely be returning for that.
