(Spoiler: A true gem- just go in!) Recently moved to the neighborhood, and was drawn spontaneously from the street side by the beautiful displays and joyful pop of yellow on the storefront. I got even more excited realizing I have a local stationery store! I've visited 4-5 times since.
I've always felt at home and loved the experience of walking through stationery stores. You feel no rush, and the owners are available if you need them to answer any questions. A super friendly bunch, that offer a laugh and a kind smile.
This summer I started using their fountain pens and they've helped me learn how to properly care for them including refills etc etc. My fiancé even has his own now.

As I walked in she said "dude you need to put a mask on". I didn't have one so I turned around to leave with no objection at all. I never opened my mouth. As I was walking away she said "Fine, be an @ssh0le then".
I walked a few blocks to another establishment that sells cards and bought everything I needed there and will continue doing so in the future.
Her actions run counter to the company's stated mission of being a "good neighbor," "taking care in what you do," and being "thoughtful." I won't spend my money in this...
