For anyone in the area trying to get a healthy salad, Just Salad (1st Ave bw 70th and 71st) is an excellent, and by far, your most optimized option for nutrition, cost, and service, among the several salad restaurants in the area that I have tried multiple times. Being a nutrition nerd, I've now been getting salads here ~6 times a week for several months; even the days I lose desire for salad and frown before entering the restaurant, I'm one bite away from a smile of satisfaction. The quality of food is extremely consistent, day after day, you know what you're gonna get. Value for money is excellent, given what's around here. I cannot say enough about customer service, I have become familiar with several employees. Tivo goes above and beyond to ensure each customer is satisfied. Annie has looked up nutrition info on their dressings for me, thank you! Briteny is so fun (and funny), with her- you're not going to be just another customer. Maya and Kristen are very sincere; Raquel and Daniel shoot for perfection in every bowl. Skyla is the sweetest (thanks for the Thai Peanut suggestion, I would never have guessed that can make salads so good). Symone and Margerita are very considerate. Harry has put a great team together and ensures smooth operation. Thanks to all of them for their excellent, relentless customer service, they are another reason I'm hooked! About that music, I like it most days, can you add...
Read moreOn March 25, I spotted Just a Salad and I yes! I’m going to get a really good salad for dinner. This is third time eating on the salads. I walked a very clean and friendly establishment. I was greeted by a young man name Tivo. I was overwhelmed with which salad I wanted to try this time. Tivo energy calmed me. He was patient, engaging and warm customer service allowed me to not afraid to ask questions. I want to order a salad but i wasn’t sure if i can make my own. He explained that I could. I chose the Peruvian chicken bowl. He even helper me decide on a different dressing. Lol because i was thinking that’s overwhelming for me too. So many flavors. The Aji that is supposed to go with the Peruvian salad, I didn’t even know what an Aji is. I asked can I taste the flavor. I didn’t enjoy it. He made a recommendation. He asked do i like cilantro. I said yes. Boom! So easy cilantro-Lime it is. I was very happy with his warm customer service. I would come to the Lennox Hill (1st Ave) location three times a week if I live over here....
Read moreCame here yesterday. On line there were 2 people ahead of me but they had already given in there orders. Waited for over 5 minutes but didn't mind because I was acknowledged by a worker saying someone will be right with me. At this time 2 more people got on line after me. Now here comes a Male employee and he goes and asks the woman behind me what she would like to order. After she was done speaking I said to him I didn't order yet. So he proceeded to ask me what I wanted to order. Knowing that he skipped me and I've been standing there for now ten minutes he went ahead and had them start making the other woman's order first. Does that make sense?! If I'm going to spend ten plus dollars on a salad I am NOT going to be disrespected. Mistakes happen and if I spoke up you should have had the common sense to fulfill my order before hers because I was there before her and waited patiently for 10 minutes. Never again will I step foot...
