Avoid this place if you don't want food poisoning. Today while I was waiting to be serviced by Edgar, the manager, I saw Edgar use his bare hand to grab a dirty mob bucket and then proceed, WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS, to put gloves on to make my food. I asked him "Aren't you going to wash your hands before you make my food?" I saw you grab that mop. I let Edgar know that I've worked in restaurants and I know food safety standards. I don't want my food to be contaminated by bacteria, etc from the mop bucket.
Edgar lies and says I was going to do that, despite me watching him come to the counter and start to put on a glove. The other workers saw Edgar do this as well.
When my friend and I went to scan the QR code by the register to leave a review. Edgar came over and asked what's going on? A worker told Edgar that my friend and I wanted to leave a review. My head was down, but my friend told me that she saw Edgar shrug his shoulders and walk away.
The worker was very apologetic. Even though it wasn't her fault. All the workers, besides Edgar, were very sweet and professional.
It's crazy that they appeared more concerned about food safety guidelines being followed, than the restaurant manager!
I should also note that this is my 2nd visit here. The first time I came to this Just Salad, was to treat my friend and myself to lunch. We both had stomach pains after eating here, my friend in particular was really sick.
At first I thought it was because I hadn't eaten all day and my stomach was just unsettled because of the sudden food. Now I'm thinking that the food was cross contaminated and my friend and I got food poisoning. Hopefully I don't get sick again this time around. I'll never come back to...

Ben greeted me with a warm smile and an enthusiastic attitude, making me feel right at home. But today I felt like this was needed to be out there, today at 2:24 I went to this new just salad because we where around, idk if the man that was there was a “training manager” or a “manager” but whatever person that was needs to know how they threat their employee, I went there for two bowls the boy was super nice taking his time and putting everything that I wanted, the guy was behind him watching him and making faces in front of me, at the end when he was putting the dressing he went and started to talk to him and showing him something that he did wrong, but the way he was talking and doing things where “ disgusting”. I was a manager for 2 years and one thing my boss will always do is threat me with respect even when we do something wrong, he will wait until there is no customer and them he would pull us over and speak, but he would never talk bad in front of a costumer to us because he know that would make it worst. If you there doing a training is because you love what you do but when you call out an employee in front of a customer and star making faces, it just makes me wonder.
