Review: Avoid This Bagel Shop at All Costs
I recently visited a bagel shop near 30th and 10th in Manhattan, and it was an absolute nightmare. Despite waiting for 30 minutes, I was completely ignored by the staff. There was no organization whatsoever ā they served people arbitrarily, whenever they felt like it.
The food was being prepared in a rushed manner and flying out of the kitchen haphazardly. The manager was too busy wiping down already clean tables to address the chaos.
When I finally got my food, it was okay, but it took a ridiculous 40 minutes. The line was chaotic, with many upset customers because no one knew where to order or how things worked. The place is tiny and overcrowded, adding to the frustration.
Save yourself the headache and go down the street to Russ & Daughters Bagels. Their service is a million times better, faster, and genuinely amazing.

It's with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Maria, as the shop owners unexpectedly let her go. As loyal customers, we're going to miss her dearly, as well as her exceptional leadership and the community she fostered here. šš„Æ

Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad a very unpleasant experience today when I went in to pick up an order that was placed through the site (which is processed by Sauce). When I came in and presented my receipt the lady at the cash register claimed that it was not received on their end which resulted in me having to order again. When I explained that this was placed THROUGH THEIR SITE she looked at me as if she was dumbfounded and proceeded to say "yeah this company does this and its happened two other times". Pretty much acknowledging that this is an issue they've had before, but clearly don't intend on doing anything about it. Moving forward I will NEVER order from here again. I wasted my lunch break having a redundant back-and-forth conversation which resulted from their lack of competence. I wasn't accommodated even after showing her the charge on my card. Now, my next course of action will be filed with Better Business Bureau. How...
