The person running the Instagram account needs a reality check. Zero sense when it comes to customer service and how to talk to people who repeatedly give you business. I left my card there last night and sent them a DM to confirm it was in fact there. They confirmed and I asked when I could come back in to pick it up and they said I’m only able to come in Friday/Saturday after 8PM as those are the only times they are open due to “covid.” I don’t live in the city so that’s definitely ridiculous and obviously not possible. They then proceeded to tell me that I was “ incorrect” when I let them know what hours they have listed on their Google business account that was updated ONE week ago by the business as I would have come Tuesday after 5pm. The incorrect and smart aleck thank you was uncalled for. Overall this experience left a really bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning.

I had my birthday here and it was amazing! The reservation process was simple and easy, the staff was super friendly and made my birthday feel so special! Would definitely host something here again in the future :)

Beach themed bar that fills up around happy hour time. Minus one for sticky, often slippery floors and the lack bathroom mirror.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked a section at Lazy Point for my birthday, only to arrive and find out the manager had triple-booked the spot--and was nowhere to be found when my party of 30 showed up. Another group told me they also didn't have an allocated section, so it wasn't just me they didn’t follow up with.

The bar was completely packed, and we had nowhere to go. I had to seat my own party in the back just to make do, and only after a security team member stepped in did we finally get an assigned spot--something the manager should have handled from the start.

Speaking of the manager, when I finally tracked him down at the end of the night, he was clearly inebriated and unprofessional. He joked about sticking his hand in my birthday cake and even tried to blow out the candles himself--multiple times.

Save yourself the stress and spend your money somewhere that values its guests and knows how to run an...

I had my birthday party at Lazy Point over the weekend and I can't overstate how amazing of an experience it was. First off, so many restaurants and bars in NYC charge crazy expensive minimums for events, but I didn't have to put any money down or hit a minimum at Lazy Point. The venue is awesome with cute decorations and a great theme, the music is so fun (all my friends thought I curated the playlist myself!), and the service was excellent—one of the bartenders even made me a personalized cocktail based on my flavor preferences. I also loved that the space was pretty big—there was another birthday party there on the same night, and it wasn't crowded at all, there was just the right amount of people. They also gave me a free t-shirt and let me bring my cake in. I highly highly recommend hosting an event here—I definitely want to have another...
