I was excited to try this new place and finally made it after a few weeks, despite the difficult parking. After spending $40 plus tips, I received some good food, but also cold buns and water condensation from the AC falling straight into my food. The cashier, despite my efforts to make her comfortable and reassuring her not to worry about getting the order wrong, couldn’t understand any English ( zero problem for us ). Read moreI didn’t enjoy my spicy beef noodle. The beef chunks were dry and tough. I’m also not a fan of rice noodles and that’s what was used in the dish. The broth was mala spicy but that’s all I tasted. I really didn’t get any other hints of flavors other than mala.
The Chengdu buns were more enjoyable. The filling differed from the usual pork fillings you find in other shops and the assortment of flavors would entice me to come back to try other buns. They were still just above average and nothing to write home about.
I enjoyed their yogurt drink the most.

One thing to note is that it’s a self-service setup, which I don’t mind, but there were no clear instructions on where to dispose of plates and trash.
