Lenz's Delicatessen — Restaurant in New York

Since August 1, 2020 I’ve spent at least $100 per week here. Tonight I called to order my wife Advil. A few minutes later I received a call from Lenz that my card was declined. Since I had enough money to pay the order I checked my bank card and it showed Lenz Deli charged my card and the money was deducted. I called the deli back told him my findings and sent him the proof. He told me “Papi the machine said it was declined and the boss isn’t here and hung up. I then called the bank and they confirmed the transaction was approved. I called Papi at Lenz back and he told him that it was declined. Now I have to wait 10 days for the transaction to go through before I can get my money back. They lost this...

Once again. Writing another review on lenz’s. Hey guys did you know that when getting a lunch order as a union uniform worker here that you end up having to pay $3 extra per baked chicken? It’s not even included when getting a side dish like mashed potatoes or whatever else, in total lunch is $12.95 so two pieces of chicken would make that $18.95. The guy that was behind the counter kept attending to everyone else quickly. Is it okay to discriminate against people that work hard here just as much as they do? Do not be fooled by the relatively cheap prices. What comes along with cheap food? Cheap service.
