Clean, organized, and well-stocked shop with friendly employees. The high ceilings and view of the open kitchen make the shop feel spacious. There is limited barstool seating available near the entrance of the business for those who would like to dine-in.

Coffee beverage options are solid. The Einspänner in particular is a delight to drink hot or cold.

I enjoy picking up the Watercress Namul and Green Pepper Muchim sides to have along with home cooked dishes. The vegetables are always fresh, have a pleasing crunch, and balanced flavor. Also, the Eomuk Bokkeum (stir-fried fish cake) side with onions, bell pepper, and seasonings is one of my favorites because of its soft slightly bouncy mouthfeel. I appreciate that it is not too sweet either.

When I am in a rush or want something for on-the-go, I usually grab a pack of the Beef Bulgogi Kimbap. It is pricier given I can buy two for the price of one at Korean mom and pop shops but Little Banchan Shop stuff their gimbap well with lots of quality and locally sourced ingredients and a fair amount of whichever main proteins are available. I like that the vegetables are well cooked and the pickled radish adds a nice bite in regard to texture. By the way, I recommend picking up a pack of your choice of gimbap before heading out for a roadtrip or going over to a concert venue. As for the shelf stable grocery items, they make for great gifts. I am currently away from home and missing the experience of being able to walk down a few blocks to pick up the items mentioned for a simple healthy meal to share or...

This review is for their online/delivery service. I just tried about 7 of their bunchuns for the first time and it was AMAZING. Jin JJah! I am blown away by how good this is. It's legitimately like home made food, made by your halmeoni. The ingredients are so fresh. Even the watercress and soybean sprout namul were crunchy and perfectly seasoned. The Yeolmu kimchi is the best I've ever had outside of Korea. The braised beef brisket was perfect, not too salty, not too sweet and beef was boiled to the perfect point (because as we know, this can often be overboiled) The marinated eggs were also perfect...when you bit into it, it looked like that perfect egg you get at a ramen restaurant and the gunchung was again perfectly seasoned. LOVED the baby anchovy. It was like "air fried" maybe?? Crunchy and again seasoned perfectly. Would go well as an anju as well. If you're Korean, this is legit and its really delicious. If you're new to Korean food, this is what it's supposed to taste like. Try everything. The chef who made this obviously know's what they're doing and loves what they're doing. Thank you!...

Highly recommend this place as a Korean - everything I tried was delicious, not your typical salty store-bought banchan but healthy and freshest taste that reminds me of my grandma’s food! The pork stir fry and gimbap are my favorite. I love that they not only sell Korean snacks, but also have a fantastically curated selection of jang!

Having grown up in Korea with my grandma, I always appreciated the incredible variety and artistry of freshly made, home-style banchan. Each dish began with the freshest ingredients, bursting with flavor from marinades and jangs crafted without any artificial additives.

The Korean food boom in the States has brought amazing Korean restaurants, but finding truly delicious and healthy pre-made banchan store remains a challenge.

Huge thanks to Little Banchan Shop and Chef Hooni Kim for bringing this level of artistry to New York's banchan scene! Thrilled to have a place I can trust for good, honest ingredients. It's a true taste of home and tradition. I would absolutely recommend everything...

My ancestors are crying over this sad excuse of a korean food establishment. Only logical explanation as to how anyone would possibly be okay with their dishes is they have never tried korean food in their life. Call it what you will, but place is straight up trash for charging customers $$$$ for disgusting food you’d expect from a typical chinese takeout - $80 worth of food went straight to garbage. To be fair, i kept white rice and plain noodle that came main dishes. I managed to take a photo of 1 of the dishes before they were discarded. There’s a korean deli on Vernon called NuLook and they are bad also. But at least their pricing is fair relative to quality and taste. This place burdens a huge disgrace to korean community. And it’s waste of real estate in the neighborhood that could’ve been occupied by much better vendor. Goto hmart for banchan or korean restaurants in flushing or even ktown for your craving needs. Just not here. Sincerely korean oppa.

As a Korean, I was a bit disappointed coming here to be honest. The pre-packaged food here looks delicious & of high quality, which it kinda is. The radish kimchi was very delicious, albeit a bit expensive at $7.50. The gimbap was alright. I couldn’t really taste the vegetables, and no yellow pickled daikon? Dang. The bibimbap in my opinion was not good. Look at the bulgogi in the photo. It looks like wet ground beef, which it tasted like it too. The flavor was not good. We came like almost 2 hours before closing too. I couldn’t finish it. They do however have a lot of imported korean ingredients, snacks, and beverages. I would stay stick to that, or the banchan they have.
