Now, my review is not necessarily on the food. The food is amazing, and my son really loves it. However, I will tell you about this pizzeria. The first time I went in with my son, I was going to sit with him inside, but I was being glanced at and didn’t feel comfortable. We took the pizza with us when we got to our apartment. The pizza was cold. The guy must’ve put the pizza in for two seconds and given it back to me, as if he wanted me out of his store. When we walked in, I almost laughed inside because the guy behind the counter looked so scared when he saw people of color coming into the pizzeria. That probably explains the fact that he gave me the pizza back so fast and cold. So as we were exiting, one of the door-dash bikers yelled at my son and told him to close the door behind him. My son was holding the door for an elderly man. I was walking right in front of him. As a person of color, you never feel welcome in this pizzeria at all. I see how they treat other customers, and it’s not the same treatment they give to people of color. Believe me when I tell you, I am a woman of color. Now I spoke to the manager, and I’ve expressed to him how rude his delivery guy is, and he reassured me that I had nothing to do at the store because these are outside contractors. I also expressed to him how rude the delivery guy was to my son, yet nothing was done because my son pointed out the guy and I saw him at the store. Again, please reassure you that I warned the manager about my experience, and he again stated, "We are not racist." I was going to write about my experience in a review; if nothing was done, apparently they didn’t take me seriously, so here we are now. Again, as I mentioned, the food is phenomenal, but if you want to get hit with discrimination with people who apparently live in New York, I’ve never seen people of color being rushed when they enter the store, I love to support my local businesses, and when I attend my community meetings, I always bring up to please support small, however, I will have to pass on this one. I’ve told my son a number of times we can go anywhere else; there’s 1 million pizzerias in New York, but because he really likes this pizza, he always orders, and I order ahead of time because I know that they’re actually going to do a good job. If I go in person, they gonna see what I look like and do a bad job handing me cold pizzeria to...
Read moreThe Buffalo Chicken slice this pizzeria serves is pretty much one of the best slices I've had in Manhattan. Juicy, crunchy with the right amount of sauce and cheese, this pizza is sure to melt any pizza lover's heart. This is not your usual slimey and grimey pizza shop with walls covered with black goo. The place is tastefully decorated, is neat, and always kept tidy. Also, they have air conditioning, so you can have a seat and enjoy your slice. Lunch hour is very busy, and finding seating during rush hours, however, is not easy. They have outdoor seating as well. Staff is courteous, and service is quick. Very often, you will find someone taking your order while you're on line, and the food will be ready by the time you reach the register. I love it how quick the line moves. Highly...
Read moreThe cauliflower margarita pizza and the house salad were very good... however it was the longest delivery time ever. I placed an order at 8:45 pm on a Thursday and they said 25–35 min. The quick delivery time is partially why I selected delivery from them. At 9:40 pm I called and asked where the food was. They said it was on the way. The food arrived ice cold at 10:20 pm, nearly TWO HOURS after I ordered it. It was so cold I had to then turn on my oven and cook the pizza for 8 minutes. :( No apology or anything from the restaurant. I really wish they would get their customer service in order and ensure they don’t deliver cold pizza, and if there is an issue, apologize and do something to make it better. There is potential but for delivery... they have...
