McDonald's — Restaurant in New York

May 6, 2024 at 5:16 PM I just visited the McDonald's located on Pitkin Ave and unfortunately, my experience was quite unpleasant. I had ordered 2 Slushies and 1 sandwich and waited for over 15 minutes, but my order wasn't ready yet. I walked up to the counter and approached the cashier, who was on her phone texting the entire time I was there. I asked her about my order, and she replied in a rude tone, "What is it?" I gave her the receipt, and she proceeded to make the slushies, only to go back to her phone once she was done. When I asked her about the sandwich, she replied, "That has both to do with me, step on the other side and wait." I explained to her that I had already been waiting for quite some time, but she didn't seem to care. I then asked her to call the Manager, but she told me to wait until she finished taking an order. She had a full-blown conversation with someone else while I waited, but she never called the Manager. 1 then approached another cashier to ask for the Manager, but she asked why I needed the Manager. Regardless, she went to get him. However, when the Manager came, he didn't seem interested in hearing me out. Instead, he asked me what my order was as if he hadn't been briefed by his staff. I was extremely disappointed with the poor customer service I received at McDonald's and have decided not to go back...

The poorest service I've ever gotten from a McDonald's in my life. My mom and I placed an order for a Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich the meal, a Big Mac, and a Happy Meal. When we were called for our order no.232. I collected the paper back and the kids meal and they gave me no drinks. Going back for the drinks they're saying they only have small cups when the Bic mac and the Spicy Sandwich meals comes with a large drink. That has nothing to do with me when y'all don't have large drinks y'all gonna have to refill my drink then. As if that was not enough they gave no ketchup at all and some hard fries. What was supposed to be a big mac turned into two separate sandwiches with just cheese and the beef inside no lettuce, no tomato. The spicy chicken sandwich only had one small pickle in it. The tables for eating were dirty and so before we even sat to eat I asked for the table to be wiped and this worker infront of me is giving me the "I don't know what you're talking about look" but she came to wipe the table after like 10 minutes after someone yelled the tables go wipe them. I don't like eating out but once in a while I do because, I'm just out and about sometimes doing shopping etc and don't have time to cook. Never me with this...

I've worked in this area for a few years and I must say each time I come in here it gets worse; the staff are all very young and it shows; they are playful and lack attentiveness - I stood at the counter for about 10 mins and eventhough it was not that busy none of the staff, including the young man who appeared to be the team leader notice the wet counter with soda that was spilled and flies hoovering! When I received my order, it included extra items which I did not order, nor do I eat, this is exactly related to the fact that they were clearly not attentive! Additionally, the floor person who was mopping etc seemed to be doing a better job even though I found it disturbing that a patron (was choping his weed and about to roll a blunt) in the plain view of customers! There is need for better management personnel here! Our young ppl need jobs but this was a horrible experience for...
