Mimi's Pizza (Broadway) — Restaurant in New York

We get a LOT of takeout and delivery pizzas -- I can't cook every single day and my family can't agree on much of anything else from outside -- and we think this is by far the best in the area, especially considering the outrageous prices that some are charging for mediocre food.

The square pizzas are delicious. The crust has just the right amount of chew to crunch ratio and the toppings are fresh and perfectly distributed. The classic Grandma is great. The one with sausage and peppers is a favorite. So is the Margherita.

The classic round is also terrific, and we completely fell in love with the rolls. The pepperoni roll was generous and super tasty.

Mimi’s Pizza on Broadway is a true NYC gem. The pizza is classic New York style—thin crust, perfectly crispy, and full of flavor. I tried a slice of pepperoni and one of margherita, and both were excellent. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the sauce has just the right balance of sweetness and spice.

Mimi's is an excellent new spot on the UWS! I recall trying their location on the east side and this one maintains their high standards. While they are known for the square slices, no corners are cut on the traditional either. Each slice clearly has a lot of effort into it and their selection is quite varied.

Just as important as the food, the service here is excellent. The staff was attentive and polite, the store is kept very well clean and it has a good atmosphere.
