I loved this place- about 5 years ago when George ran the place. Now- not so much. 2 out of 3 times I order it is wrong, and as of yesterday and today I have officially spent $44 on a tuna fish sandwich on a roll, a grilled cheese and a small oj served in a tiny coffee cup. To be clear- the tip total for delivery around the corner was $6- no other fees, $38 was for two Deli sandwiches and a drink. How that added up? Not sure but the sandwiches came to $33 with the juice at $5 for maybe 6oz. Grilled cheese was cold, soaked in butter and soggy- tuna salad was good- can’t go wrong, yet even subway doesn’t serve tuna that is stinky. This was some scrape me from the bottom corners of your 5 gallon bucked type stank tuna. This is not what this place used to be. I feel used and abused and need to go brush my teeth to get rid of the metallic tinny old tuna fish odor haunting my entire mouth. Wish I could say the oj was “fresh squeezed” but it’s bitter and pithy af and am pretty sure that’s just what the label says on their gallon jug, not something they do with actual oranges. Too bad- and I work in kitchens- I’m the last person to leave this kind of review somewhere but something needs to be said and I’ll be the first in the neighborhood to call this place out on their corner cuts and absurd price inflations. Make the food quality better- or even stay the same- and increase the price of you have to- but do you really think your regulars in the neighborhood of the past 10-15 yrs aren’t going to notice your food and ingredient quality plummet while drastically increasing all menu prices by over 20%?! Sorry morning...

Good place for breakfast for sure. We had eggs Florentine on spinach which my wife enjoyed. Son Philly cheese stake wrap, which was tasty, filling alot, but heavy. I went for regular western omelette with exchange pf potato for fruit salad for 2usd. Daughter had some pancakes, probably the weakest dish. Bacon is very tasty, well prepared how it should be. One thing spoiled the experience. They add automatically 18% tip. I know it is NY, but for breakfast service, nothing special, at the place that seems local, friendly, for a European it is a surprise. It simply does not feel right they force an additional almost 20%. Everyone leaves something. This thing about this place we did not like. Not for morning 40 minute simple breakfast. It made the whole value wrong. Instead of 90 usd bill you get almost 110 for breakfast (4 people). We fed the 5th person with this. Increase the prices and let people decide whether they tip you, how...

Went there with a friend. We ordered quesadillas as appetizers but they were very fade and not tasty at all. Simply greasy. We asked the owner to cancel our pasta meals. They refused saying they were ready (literally ordered 5min before and while we just started the quesadillas). We tried the pasta but again they were not good at all. Not disgusting but simply not tasting nothing. Literally like pasta you would cook in water. No salt no paper no sauce. Whatever was put in the plate was decorative. They said we were the ones to add salt and pepper to our convenience. But then why do I even go to a restaurant if they simply cook pasta and don’t make it a great tasty meal. We left everything and did not eat. A first in my life. The restaurant offered a discount of 50% but we still paid 30$ for a meal that was not tasting nothing and that we did not eat and asked to cancel. I don’t recommend. Stay away It is a...

I have Celiac’s Disease and asked about the ingredients in the chili. I saw my server asking the kitchen, and then another employee. I super appreciate that he was attentive to my food restriction and was making an effort to really make sure I could have the food and didn’t just turn me away or only half ask. I saw they had smoothies and decided to make it easier on everyone and just get a smoothie, which I know is definitely gluten free. I’m currently drinking this smoothie and it is insanely delicious. I saw him make it with just frozen fruit and green yogurt—no added sugar or juices or mixes. It is really really good!! I got the Combo, which is a ton of fruits and it’s a perfect mix! He also additionally confirmed I could have Greek yogurt after making it because he wanted to ensure I wouldn’t get sick. Very caring and attentive server experience and such a delicious smoothie!! And they’re open so many hours!
