Mumbai Place — Restaurant in New York

It was a very pleasant experience for me and my wife when we were craving for some great authentic Indian food. This place seems like opened recently and the ambience is quite attractive. Located in a convenient intersection in Williamsburg Brooklynn, The menu caters to every kind of taste buds and diet whether if anyone is looking for a choice of medium spicy or more spicy flavours, veg or non-veg. I had seen Mumbai Place when riding the Q59 and when we decided to eat Indian, I thought to check this out.

Came here on a Thursday evening for dinner with a party of three. We ordered a chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. The portions were big and delicious. The staff member was very nice and attentive, even giving us a gulab jamun to end our meal with.

I am soooo glad that this place moved into the neighborhood. The food is very well seasoned and cooked with care and precision.

The lamb and goat is tender and flavorful, the rice is never under or over cooked, and the portions are just right.

I was skeptical because you never see anyone eating inside but I now see it has nothing to do with food quality. They are very up to par with what you should expect from great Indian cuisine.
