Just tried this place out and was very pleasantly surprised. I was a little skeptical of the reviews and photos here, but this was some of the best sushi I've had in a while in Crown Heights. I think some of the restaurant photos here are from their catering events, but the presentation of the sushi really is just that good. The sushi chef was a younger guy who knocked it out the park. The stand out roll we had was the Toro Scallion, which offered a very generous helping of extremely quality fish for a mere $10. The Foxy Lady Roll was also so tasty, and was almost a little difficult to eat with how much fish they loaded on (not complaining of course). My partner and I shared 6 rolls and left stuffed, and our check came out to like $80 after tip. Our service was great and I highly encourage you to swing by a try a roll.
I will say that this is definitely not the fanciest atmosphere you can find at sushi restaurants in the area, but they really pour all their energy into providing amazing sushi, which is what I want when I dine out. Their dine-in menu is pretty much limited to sushi, so don't expect to get chicken teriyaki or udon or hibachi in the restaurant, which a lot of reviews here mention. I do hope they get a beer/wine license soon, as some sake would've been perfect, but they have clearly focused all their energy into bringing you the best possible sushi.
Go try it out, support a new business, get your mind blown...

The menu features a wide variety of sushi and sashimi, but what really impressed me were the signature rolls—especially the Musha Special Roll, which combines spicy tuna, avocado, and seared salmon in a perfect harmony of flavor and texture. The sashimi platter was also a highlight, showcasing incredibly fresh cuts of fish, beautifully presented.
Beyond sushi, their tempura and donburi bowls are flavorful and satisfying, ideal for those who want something warm and hearty. Their miso soup and seaweed salad were simple but done right—clean, comforting starters.
For drinks, the restaurant offers a nice selection of Japanese beers, sake, and specialty teas, making it easy to pair your meal just right.
Overall, Musha Sushi delivers a top-tier dining experience—fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a menu that caters to both traditional and adventurous tastes. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to...
