I want to leave a review for Napoli Pizza in Astoria. I found both the taste and the service really disappointing. A pizza should be crispy and firm, but when I opened the pizza, the sight in front of me was truly disheartening. Imagine being extremely hungry, waiting impatiently for your meal, and then being served something that doesn’t even appeal to your eyes. First of all, the mozzarella on the pizza had slid off and was not properly on top of the pizza, leaving the dough exposed, as shown in the attached photos. Moreover, the tomato sauce was poured before the pizza was fully baked, and it leaked under the pizza, making what should have been a crispy pizza end up soggy and muddy. Please look at the attached photos. I wanna add ome more thing which is about health. After eating this pizza, I felt serious stomach and belly pain in the middle of the night during my sleep. I woke up and went to restroom several times. What an unfortunate experience. I strongly don’t recommend this place to anyone. This is unacceptable. If you don’t know how to make pizza properly, please stop doing it—you don’t have to continue this job.

This was one of the worst pizza places I have ever ordered food from. Order was late, which I would have not cared much about if the food made up for it. Unfortunately, it did not. They sloppily threw everything inside a paper bag instead of putting it in a small pizza box, which made everything wet and soggy. My slice was inside the same bag as the garlic knots, and the slice was just thrown in sloppily. The least of my issues: The garlic knots had an option “Extra sauce for additional charge,” I chose that option. Yet, I didn’t receive any sauce whatsoever. Not the one it’s supposed to come with, nor the extra sauce I paid for. The slice was ice cold and the cheese was hard. The garlic knots were stale and tough to bite into. The eggplant parmigiana hero was on stale bread. There wasn’t even any cheese inside the actual hero, it was all along the side on the outside, but it doesn’t even matter because the cheese smelled like sour milk anyways. I usually try to give 2-stars if a restaurant has any kind of redeeming quality, but this one doesn’t.

This place is a small family restaurant that appears to have good food, however they advertise ingridients in the menu and do not actually mix them in the food. I ordered a cesar salad and it was dry with very little sauce. I also ordered a Pasta Napoli and it did not come with any oregano, parsley, or basil. These ingredients make the whole difference on the dish. So, is Napoli selling fake italian food? How do you mess a Cesar salad to begin with, Jeseu Christ! Bwry disapointed and woll not fall for fake italian food in an traditional Italian neighborhood. Or, at least Astoria ised to be partially Italian. Clearly not anymore. I even called the restaurant to express my discontent on the phone so they could get a true feedback. NAPOLI on 35th Ave. Astoria simply sucks.

With all the positive reviews i was expecting to get a good bit to eat and a great experience but Never could appreciate the food due to the rude service from the young lady serving outside. A business that service food needs to be clear with their rules and regulations with the customers to avoid misunderstandings. Napoli customer's can NOT eat out side unless you order from the waitress outside . I was never approached by the waitress outside so I entered the restaurant and ordered. Mentioned at the counter to young man that I was going to eat outside until that moment I understood I was ok . I step out side clean the table were I was going to eat and sit down and waited for our service. The waitress brings my food in a bag to my surprise . No problem I proceed to open the bag and the Waitress said I quote " You cant not eat here because you didn't order with me " I tried to explain that I mentioned inside that I was going to eat outside and no one mentioned nothing to me . She Firmly insisted that I could not eat on the table with no hesitation and no open conversation. I had to pick up my food and leave , living far their was no way I would be able to eat the food. Please be clear with your customers at the beginning of the service. Has customers we do not know your rules and regulations you would like your customers to follow. Miss waitress if you are sitting down on the steps around the corner of the restaurant were you can not be seen or you can not greet the customer how would you expect the customer to know the rules. Service & politeness is so underestimated in restuarant in these times. The food did look good just could...
